Overpriced hipster joint, most likely because it's in a tourist spot. It's decent food, but ultimately the amount charged for the quality is not worth it. The carne asada nachos weren't terrible, but they were super soggy on the bottom as most places get. They were still better than nachos you would get at a corporate place like Chili's or Buffalo Wild Wings, but I have had much better from scratch kitchens elsewhere. Carne asada was cooked decently (aka not super burnt). I do remember the guacamole tasting pretty decent for an American restaurant.

The classic market burger add caramelized onions was ok. The burger bun was pretty solid, although the rest of the burger was cookie cutter. I didn't taste any difference between the Niman Ranch beef patty they advertised and a regular beef patty I have gotten from any other restaurant. I think they forgot the house sauce on mine, as I cannot recall it being on there or tasting it. Not a bad meal after hiking 15+ miles in a day, but then again if you're super hungry most places would...

We stayed down the road at the Tomales Bay Inn & Resort. We had planned to try some of the closer restaurants, but luckily they were closed. We went a little further to the Tap Room because they actually opened late enough that we wouldn't be rushed. We were immediately greeted by one of the friendliest ladies that really made you feel like it was her personal mission to make us feel welcome. Sat at a shared long table in the back. Played chess with my youngest son while we waited for our dinner. Enjoyed a locally brewed amber ale with the Reuben sandwich. The Tap Room shares a kitchen with the Inverness Park Market next door that has a wonderful deli and fantastic small town grocery market. Enjoyed the experience so much, I even bought a Tap Room ball cap. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. A lot of places have good customer service. This one was so welcoming that you just want to keep...

Highway robbery for gross food. One of the worst burgers ever, and a sneaky server suggesting items without mentioning a surcharge. The burger was severely undercooked. When I was asked if I wanted my side to be fries or a salad, my selection of fries was followed up by the question if I wanted garlic fries. The bill in the end showed I was charged an additional 1.50 for this (this bland and boring, semi-raw burger cost 24 dollars as is!). And they were gross. Undercooked fries, soaked in grease and drowned in near-raw garlic that kept repeating itself for the rest of the day. This restaurant seems to operate without running water! All plastic/paper plates, cups, cutlery, etc. The toilets are filthy honey buckets outside with a handwash station with barely any water to wash your hands. After a 10 day road trip using public bathrooms, this was the dirtiest one I came across. Avoid...

My wife selected this restaurant based on the extensive and intriguing menu, but we later realized it was actually the menu from the neighboring Inverness Park Market. The Tap Room's menu, in contrast, appeared somewhat limited, mainly featuring various sandwich/burger options. Ultimately, we decided to order the IP Market Nacho Plate and the Fish Taco Trio. The Fish Taco Trio, unfortunately, left much to be desired. It lacked distinct flavors and was rather plain - essentially beer-battered fish on a tortilla with avocado slice and some vegetables. On a brighter note, the Nacho Plate was a pleasant surprise. It arrived with a generous serving size, more than sufficient for two people. I must commend the staff for their exceptional friendliness, and the establishment itself exuded a cozy and endearing charm despite its relatively small size.

Came here by myself after a fun day at the beach. My server was quick, very kind and polite. I got offered a window seat. It's a tiny spot with a few tables. Everyone knew each other, had that small town feel. I loved that they used compostable plates, and they recycled!! It's attached to the deli next door, which surprised me... It was a long fun day lol. I got the grilled chicken sandwich with fries, amazing!! The flavors blended together flawlessly! I really liked the pesto and aioli sauce, plus I just like sandwiches. I also got a to go order to take back to Sac with me, from what I could smell the clam chowder smells really tasty too!! Then I got another grilled chicken sandwich but that time was with a salad (•‿•) My hubs also enjoyed their food once I did get back! So good! Definitely want to go again!
