Cheers Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Fairfield Township

The absolute worst place in southern NJ, let alone Bridgeton, to eat and drink. Everything on tap was lukewarm and flat because the owner is dragging his ass to get this issue resolved. There was no real variety of whiskeys and nothing remotely close to Top Shelf.

The bartender was dressed like she just rolled out of bed and absolutely wreaked of Marijuana. She was nice and polite, but I just couldn't get past her attire and odor. Almost completely unprofessional.

After debating with myself whether or not to order food, I relented (mostly because I would've felt guilty for leaving without ordering something). So, I ordered the safest thing on the menu. Wings. Not terrible, but not worth ordering again.

I have no affiliation with the bar down the street, but I should have just waited there for a bar stool to become available instead of compromising my standards and going here.

On a Friday evening, there were no cars in their lot, except for a few that belonged to the staff. My Spidey senses were telling me not to go in. I should have listened. ...

Just recently went here. First server was great. Got our drinks and greeted us right away. For some reason the servers got switched. The one that came over seemed very irritated when taking our order. Waited way too long for burgers. Asked for medium well hot medium rare. Ordered fries that never got brought out. Server never came back to check on us. Drinks never got refilled and wasn’t able to even tell her the burgers were cooked wrong. Wasn’t busy at all and while waiting on our food she was behind the bar braiding her hair. My original server must have seen the irritation and came over to check on us so I asked for my fries, a to go box and the check. When she came back she asked how everything was besides the long wait on the fries but couldn’t bring myself to complain to her because she wasn’t the problem. Never going back. Ordered 21 wings got 7 waitress said she would call owner to see if she could credit my credit card back for the difference. He didn't answer so told her go ahead and have the rest made to go.. while we sat there waiting my husband ordered a beer as we are paying for the beer she discovered that on our first bill ( that we already paid for) that she didn't charge for one of his beers so we had to pay for that also... if we already paid for first bill why do we have to pay for that beer? We thought she did it as a favor for the mishap for the wings and sour beer .. been.there a few times but now definitely won't be back.if the owner is there shouldn't there be another...
