Missouri River Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Fairfield

We were here for a birthday. While it was significantly hard to find a menu online due to allergies, they had the basics of bar food-but elevated. Everyone at our party reported good food. Personally we had grilled cheese, a burger, and a chicken wrap. The burger and grilled cheese were good. The wrap was giant (approx 4" thick and about 7" long) and was delicious according to our family member that ate it. The restrooms were unusex and clean. I remember there used to be a back room for like parties that had a strange salad bar. I didn't see a salad bar offering (as many went by the wayside during C-19) but also didn't see a back room any longer as our about 25 person party was off to the right when you came in so I am guessing that may be gone. Our waitstaff was phenomenal. I absolutely forget their name but they were incredibly helpful amd kind throughout (as were anyone who brought out food, etc.). We've eaten here before; as usual, the food was pretty good! Unfortunately, the service this last visit was terrible and all we had was 2 burgers, 2 orders of fries, 2 glasses of water. We initially had to go to the bar to ask to see a menu. After eventually being served, my wife had to ask for a glass of water; she finally received it 20 minutes later. When it was time for us to leave, after another long wait for our meal ticket, we had to go to the bar again to ask for it. When I attempted to leave the waitress/barmaid/owner whichever she is, a $5.00 tip, I was told I couldn't leave that amount which was $4.98 more than my wife wanted me to leave her, that I had to leave the amount showing on her card-reader, which was $8.00, twenty-some cents. She broadcast her complaint to a bar patron, an over-drunk, mostly toothless man who began a loud diatribe about why I should leave a larger tip. We won't be eating here again. Absolutely AWFUL "restaurant." Spend your money somewhere else. I arrived at 12:36 with my fiance and friend and our orders were taken quickly. We waited for almost an HOUR, and received our food at 1:31. We ordered two chicken sandwiches, which were not breaded, extremely thin, and BLAND. Our fries were burnt and black and unsalted. My friends burger was burnt. When we called the waitress over, she was extremely disrespectful and impatient with the fact that we didn't want overpriced unseasoned "food." We had come here a month ago and sent back one of our burgers because they put sauce on it when we requested no sauce, and the lady angrily said "are you going to even eat anything? this is the second time you guys have done this." The lady in question is elderly and has dark hair. This is the second time I have been served a joke!!! Absolutely awful food and EVEN WORSE service. Do not make the same mistake I did and wait an hour...
