Subway — Restaurant in Fairfield

I walked in at 6:30, well within your posted hours, since the store is supposed to be open until 9. When I arrived, the employee told me she was still open and came over to the counter, only to inform me that the meal of the day “wasn’t available anymore.” She then added that she was getting ready to close in 7 minutes. This is completely unacceptable when there were still two and a half hours left before the official closing time.

If the store is open, it should be fully operational. There is no reason customers should be turned away or told sandwiches can’t be made simply because an employee wants to shut down early. This was unprofessional, inconvenient, and reflects very poorly on your establishment.

I hope this issue is addressed, as this location clearly needs better management and adherence to posted hours. I would appreciate a follow up regarding how this will be corrected moving...

The punk working behind the subway stand on 8/27/25 was very rude. He complained that he still had an hour of work with people waiting in line because he had school in the morning. And he turned off the oven so we couldn’t even order warm subs, honestly awful employee. The person seemed to be the manager, as she was telling the other employee what to do. She was rude, which I can take, they were busy. I only get tomatoes and pickles on my Italian BMT. I like a lot of pickles. She refused to give me more pickles. She told me “this is not a pickle sandwich. I have had the same sandwich at hundreds of Subways. I will avoid this Subway in the future.
