I wish I had the words to express how incredible this small local business is.
My family went in yesterday for the first time after a loved one passed away and my children needed a distraction from the grief (I think we all did). We ordered each of them a kids cone, and my husband and I had coffees. He had a plain latte and I ordered the hot heifer (genuinely the best mocha I have ever tasted).
I’ve followed the business on Facebook for some time since I live a bit outside of town and was interested, so I asked about their paid forward drinks. The owner and I had a conversation and I ended up sharing with her the loss we had experienced and broke down a little. She was SO genuine and kind, and she offered me a hug and a prayer.
Later we realized we had ice cream at home already, but I think God was prompting me to bring my kids for ice cream because I really needed that hug and the delicious coffee didn’t...

I had a delicious latte and chocolate scone, and even came away with some gifts made my local artists. The clay earrings I bought were made by a 12-year-old resident of the town.
