Ambiance on Albion - Taphouse and Grill — Restaurant in Fairmont

For the third time in six visits my order has been screwed up. The first time I ordered a pizza in a group ten. After everyone but me received their order, I watched them all eat their food and were ready to pay their bill to leave I was told my order was ready. I told them to forget it without even getting my two drinks compted. The waitress blamed the cook and the cooked blamed the waitress. The second time I ordered a pizza with a thin crust and green olives. I received a thick crust with green peppers. Everyone in my group laughed but I ate it. I didn’t want to wait another twenty minutes for a new pizza. Tonight I ordered a Ribeye with mushrooms and shrimp. I received a whiskey streak and no mushrooms. It took over fifteen minutes of me watching everyone else finish eating in a group of sixteen. The only consolation was the waitress admitted it was her mistake. I commended her for taking blame. Plus my drink order was wrong twice. On the third try it was corrected. Also, I reserved a table for fifteen and they only set a table for twelve. Five people sat a different table. Been visiting there since beginning. Wanted to give them a chance with so few options in Fairmont for the atmosphere and food choices. I had hoped it would be a successful business for them and customers. Truth is tonight was the last straw. If u order the prime rib, it is a very good cut and flavor. Issue is it has been cold every time ordered. Eat it quick!! Informed them everytime, no change. Sweet potato fries is a good option. Issue is they are fried to a crisp. Never had a bad cup of soup though. Wait staff is doing very well, unfortunately they can’t keep the good personable ones that care about the customer. If u have children with you beware as the bartender has a loud foul mouth and seems to cater to their friends. Advised the owner tonight and he said he has advised them twice tonight. Bottom line is find somewhere else. McDonald’s is right off...

I thought I would manage expectations and let people know what this place is. The tortilla chips are the really cheap ones from the store. The ranch is cheap bottled ranch, the salsa, the guacamole, the marinara and literally everything is what you or I would get from Walmart. Nothing is made fresh. I could tell the waitress hated being there, I don't hold it against her though, she did nothing wrong. If none of those things matter to you, you might actually enjoy this place for what it is, a place to watch the game and grab a drink.
