Doug's Bar — Restaurant in Fairmount

Very friendly service, tasty food but a little longer wait than we would have liked and expected. We stopped here for dinner after meeting someone for a Facebook Marketplace delivery and ordered the Doug's Ugly Burger and Grilled Chicken Breast Baskets with Fried Pickles and French Fries. The ingredients were all fresh, the meat was cooked well and the Hidden Valley Ranch served with the fried pickles was tasty and high-quality. The fries were krinkle-cut, lightly cooked, soft and greasy, so depending on how you like your fries done, this might be perfect for you. The fried pickles were better than I expected, especially when dipped in the delicious Ranch dressing. We were glad that we could take advantage of the Happy Hour from 6-8, so keep that in mind if you stop by for dinner. I would definitely stop here again - it isn't big-city quality, but is a good value, isn't loaded up with sauces and salt and tastes good. Oh yeah, they also have delicious, buttery popcorn that we enjoyed while waiting for our food.
