Patriot Pizza & Subs, Inc. — Restaurant in Fairview Township

We've ordered from Patriot a couple times and the staff is friendly, but I just cannot get on board with the dough. The bread just seems underdone to me, there isn't that golden brown, slightly crispy exterior shell I always love from sub shops. The most recent visit we had 3 subs and some wraps and the subs all had bread that was pale white and just seemed under cooked, maybe this is something other customers like? I had the buffalo chicken sub and the one side of the roll was saturated with the juice from the shredded chicken and sauce. I would think this would be inevitable, but when I arrived the order was still being completed, so I'd think it wasn't sitting too long. flavor was excellent though. My wife got the chicken cheese steak, but there was no sauce, so she warmed up some of own. The rest of everything was spot on. I'm not saying I wouldn't stop back in, but it's fierce competition with pizza shops in this area with 6 shops within 5 miles of each other, we usually try to rotate around when it comes time to order some take out, I'm hoping for a little better experience the next...

If you grew up enjoying USA&I pizza and subs in the Valley Green plaza, and were saddened by how the food quality has declined in recent years then I have excellent news for you! The Patriot is owned and operated by the same wonderful family who gave our community years of delicious food, reasonable prices and laid-back atmosphere.

I was so happy to have lunch at The Patriot with my mother this week and overjoyed when she told me who owned it. Although I live in MD now, I was raised in the Etters area and loved the subs, pizza, salads and appetizers at USA&I, and was genuinely disheartened when the restaurant was under new ownership and quality suffered. Our Friday evenings were either USA&I or New China for take-out.

We enjoyed every bite of our lunch at The Patriot. For $57 we ordered two large subs and one bacon cheeseburger (to go), one salad and one BLT grinder. Absolutely delicious and brought back memories of my childhood.

This pizza place is a gem! Family owned. The bread is always fresh. Our family has never had a hard roll - ever. The garlic knots are delish and the wings have plenty of sauce. The consistency of the food is always spot on. Carry out orders are always correct - no missing condiments or sauces or sides. The sauce is delicious. We love the creative variety of pizzas and subs.The eggplant parm is as spectacular as what I have had in Italy. Most importantly the restaurant is always clean and tidy, including the restrooms. There is indoor booth seating. If you want something added or not included on your food, just ask. They are very willing to accommodate. The staff is very neat and clean and friendly. I have never seen anyone making food touching money at the register and then return to making the food. Very clean. Only one time have we had a mistake and they corrected it. No arguing or attitude. One last note .....They have a killer California chicken cheesesteak...
