El Maya Mexican Cuisine Fairview — Restaurant in Fairview

Ordered fish tacos and asked blonde waitress before ordering if fish was shredded and she said no when it arrived I got shredded naked fish tacos. Sent back and got hard tacos and no flavor place is bland and service sucks. I waited 10 minutes after food arrived to finally get up from table was by register/ kitchen area trying to locate someone on my order blonde waitress came in from outside went to explain fish shredded but she grabbed plate rolled her eyes was short and rude . No listening skills As I ordered 2 hard tacos to go and they came out on a plate No customer service skills as she had excuses on being busy when we waited for drink orders& food orders then brought 2 silverware sets when there was 4 of us. Within a hour of leaving I felt terrible with stomach cramps and in bathroom most of this evening will not go back or recommend .would give it a -10 if I could ! Place looked good but a lot of issues here. We show up and its empty, we get sat down and get our drinks. we notice people getting sat down after us and the waitresses going to all these new tables to take orders. After almost 20 minutes I couldn't find out waitress and watch all the other tables around us start getting their food before we even got to make our order. When they did finally get our food the stuff I ordered was so slammed with onion you couldn't taste anything else but that like it was a crazy amount of onion on this burrito. My wife ordered a cheese steak burrito and they completely make it wrong and did chicken instead of steak and again couldn't find out waitress. The food is actually quite good (better than what I would expect from a Mexican restaurant in rural northern Oklahoma); the portions are spot on, everything I've had was seasoned well, and there are certainly plenty of options on the menu. The only real complaint I have would be the slow and inattentive wait staff, but I think this is mostly due to the fact that I've only been in during lunch and they're one of two or three restaurants in the town, so it can get quite hectic during the mid-day rush.
