Taqueria Jalisco — Restaurant in Falfurrias

The food was okay but the service was very terrible!!! I know all restaurants have the right to refuse service but if you're going to refuse service just tell them straight on point don't let someone just sit at a table feeling uncomfortable and not getting any service at all I had three different waitresses that give me my plate my tea and my chips and salsa. The first waitress never even bother asking me if I wanted some chips and salsa or any refills!! If she did not wanted to serve me that's okay I can take my money somewhere else and believe me it was not even busy I had to ask for things that I need it because the first waitress never even came back to me or even had the decency to ask me for refill sweet tea. the lady that passed the chips and salsa saw me a lot of times and she did not even offer me some. Never coming back here again , and management if you're going to refuse service to someone tell him face-to-face don't make them go sit at a table and feel very uncomfortable and be waiting to not get no service very disappointed in...

Wow, I'm really surprised at the current ratings of this place (14 rev/4.2). I don't think I've ever rated a restaurant this low, but bottom line, it was not good!

I will not recommend this to family and friends, at least not for breakfast. While they do have big portions, what does it matter if the food is dry? And forget about adding salsa. I have never disliked a salsa more than this one. It's worse than Pace. Why would you not make your own??? Smells like they mop with dirty rags. Thankfully the table did not smell that way. The waitress was not very friendly and a bit short with us. She never brought us the ticket, so when we paid up front, they ended up overcharging us. Just an unpleasant experience overall. Very disappointing in what I thought was a Mexican restaurant, but more of a Tex-Mex joint. I usually give places multiple tries, but this one may be the exception. Ugh! Don't mess...

This place was DISGUSTING!!!!! We stopped here on our way to San Antonio from McAllen and just wanted some authentic mexican food. The horchata was good so I was hopeful. The menudo was SO gamey that I couldn't even handle the smell!! I had to move the bowl to another table and couldn't even bring myself to try it. I also ordered a lengua taco and a queso taco. Both were so big that it just wasn't enjoyable. I had a couple bites of the lengua taco but the pieces were so big that I couldn't eat it. The queso on the other taco was literally just shredded...neither the tortilla nor the cheese were hot so I only ate one bite. Honestly I just want to put my finger down my throat and throw it all up right now. I hope I don't get sick. Spare yourself the disappointment and go...
