I wanted to like this place. Came in for lunch. I work construction so I cant afford to eat heavy then get back to working. Ordered a dbl cheeseburger. Thing came out COLD! None of the cheese was melted. Patties tasted like salisbury steak. Buns were bland. Had to douse this thing in hot sauce despite ordering jalapenos in it. I regret coming. Spent 16 bucks on a sad burger,chips and a drink. Nothing else. Thats crazy. Couldvt driven to floresville and got something better for less. Learn...

I wouldn’t of have a star but I had to. I was on the phone with my husband as he ordered lunch and the lady was EXTREMELY rude to him he asked for marbled brisket and she told him NO I’m not doing that and then he proceeded to ask for a BBQ plate and she told him well when I’m ready for you I’ll ask you when she was standing there doing nothing. I am beyond disappointed with the way my husband was treated I will no long support this business...

Lunch was amazing. I had the chicken fried steak sandwich, chopped brisket and chicken strips. Everything was made to order.

The chopped brisket was really good. I ended up getting a couple pounds to go for tomorrow's lunch.

Customer service was hands down some of the best I've had in a long time. All workers were extremely friendly and informative.

I'll definitely come back for lunch amd...

Pollack's is a must stop on any country drive through this small town, Falls City, Texas. Local deli meats, and a simple lunch menu and homemade foods will delight. Good value and delicious. It was Recommended by a review for the drive between san antonio and corpus christi. It was a highlight of our drive.
