RJ's Bagels — Restaurant in Falls Township

I happened upon this place today; my dentist has a new office in the area (Eric Abrams, highly recommend him too).

This place was outstanding.

There's a ton of choices, literally 19 flavors of bagels. I had the jalapeño with pork roll and egg. Very delicious. The staff was awesome, from the lady on the counter (blond, younger) to the cook (who dispatched my food), everyone was courteous and quick.

The price was great, $7 for the sandwich and a coffee.

The coffee was excellent, they had at least seven different huge decanters ready. They had syrups available to freely add, and at least four different creamers all there on the counter to use.

They have chips if you want some, and everything was tasty. I ordered five bagels to go, including strawberry, super cinammon and honey oat. All were fresh and good. The size is fine and the price is good ($1.5 for a bagel?).

I recommend this place wholeheartedly, and I am happy to discuss further should anyone want more details. The parking was easy and spacious and the place was clean, looked and smell great. Great work everyone, especially the young lady behind the counter. UPDATE 4/2025 While i original rated them 5 stars years ago, in the last few months the bagels have gotten smaller and they barely put egg on the sandwichs. The smaller bagels are still really good but what you get for your money has gone down a lot. Before i could barely finish a sandwich but today i ate the whole thing and was still hungry. I hope the owners realize this is going to hurt the business. Bring back the old RJs!!.......I must have done over 100 bagel spot reviews at this point and this one beats them all! Hands down the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. Now the place doesn't look amazing and is in this little hole in the wall shopping center but that's where you find the good one's. I walked in and the staff was very friendly. Talking to an older gentleman at the register, I told him I'm always looking for a good bagel joint and he said "well you found the best" and wow was he right. The garlis bagel was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, with not too littleor too much garlic. This place used to be great. It's really gone down hill since I left high school. I used to be a weekly customer but after getting my order messed up consistently i would only go here and there and they still can't get my order right. Dont expect to get your bagel toasted if its a hot bagel sandwich. Today i asked the lady on the phone to please make sure my bagel was toasted on a pork/roll/eggn'cheese and she said yes. When i got there i asked the counter boy if it is please toasted, he said yes, then i asked the cook if it was toasted, he said yes... got home and it wasn't toasted. Its very disappointing. Service is friendly, but they are clearly not fit in this business, service is slow. Food is solid, especially for their prices. Anthony seems like he isn't there anymore, which could result in the decline of the service and quality of food. The place is extremely filthy, and needs to be cleaned on a DAILY basis.
