Chapoquoit Grill — Restaurant in Falmouth

We've been here twice, the last time being last night for my wife's and mother-in-law's birthdays. The decor' is very nice. The restaurant does seem a bit cramped, tables are pretty close together and you can tend to bump into other patrons. The food was superb. Everything we had was excellent. The staff was very nice and friendly. The only negatives were: 1. VERY slow service on both visits. Some of the slowest service of any restaurant we've ever been to. 2. The food was a little pricier than it needed to be. 3. Deserts are not even listed on the menu, even though they have them. If the first 2 items were addressed, this would get a solid 5. Would love to try the salmon next time. Good solid burger and fries that hit the craving spot. Very good beef. And the barbecue chicken and jalapeño pizza was unique and very yummy. Muscles & dipping were also very delicious. We were a large group and got the muscles to share. Only thing I wouldn’t order again is the raspberry non alcoholic drink because that was a little too sweet. Also we were seated in a nook area and I’d love for the lighting to be improved. But for a casual family place and for what’s in the area a good place with a good decent menu. Like I said I’ll probably try the salmon next time. We just tried the Chapaquoit Grill in recent weeks. Were thinking about Stone Oven Pizza and my husband mentioned the CG. Our waitress was friendly, efficient and we had a good experience. We loved the stone baked pizza right out of the oven (and they were generous with the sausage topping!) We enjoyed our experience and went back for takeout. Like any takeout, it's not as good as eating it right out of the oven, but we will go back again soon. Pleasant/comfortable (relaxing) atmosphere with good food for reasonable prices.
