On a camping roadtrip and we know that good food can be scarce when you set your route to avoid highways. We found this place on our way to our campsite for the night. It seemed busy for a Tuesday night is there appeared to be only one waitress working with 7 tables. My husband got a buffalo chicken salad and I got the meatloaf sandwich (it's a tradition I get at least one on every trip). The salad was okay, nothing fancy about it but my husband cleaned the plate and the meatloaf sandwich wasn't the best I've had (has anyone had a mouthwatering meatloaf sandwich?) But it wasn't bad. Little seasoning helped and the gravy was okay. The fries were decent.

Love eating here when we are in the area. Fantastic wings!! I do mean Fantastic...a must try. In fact, besides burgers I can't tell you about any other food besides it looks good. Just can't stray from those wings!! I can tell you that you will not be disappointed with the wings and burgers though. We stick the the restaurant side and it is a nice country atmosphere with friendly staff. Give it a shot....get the wings!! 😁 Update 5/3/24. Stopped in for more wings...still delicious!!!! Tried clam strips and the fish sandwich too...both great!!! Still a must stop of you are in the area...don't miss out!!

We were able to return to Sportsman's Paradise today after about a year. Still a 5 star meal! It is a bar atmosphere, laid back, casual and rather dark inside, and the food is awesome! We shared the clam strips appetizer, small but yummy. For our meals my husband always gets their wings, they are called whole wings (honey mustard sauce this time), and I got the fish sandwich (more whale size). A must stop restaurant.

Details of my own experience would fill up the entire comment section. There would definitely not be any negative reviews from me as this being the restaurant I grew up around lol, this was my Pap's restaurant so yea its an amazing place to be for me even with that though I don't know how someone could possibly leave a bad review I'm sure the experience is not what I remember but it definitely has to be great this is a very amazing town to be in and everybody knows everybody. I'm just here for the nostalgia lol I would have never thought I'd be seeing this restaurant still alive and on social media truly astonishing. This place was definitely a very huge part of my childhood I love it no matter what. I even knew all the people in the log cabin homes next to it. To the ppl of crown and anyone who knew me I was known as Gizmo Joe. Brooksy's grandson. I would laugh so hard if someone who remembers me reads this and somehow got it bac. I could tell him. Mk to my Pap. I would love that so much. I would tell him myself but that...

On Sunday, May 3, a group of motorcycle riders stopped by for an evening meal. We arrived at 5:35PM, Placed our order about 10 minutes later, My husband and I ordered a bowl of chili. How hard is it to heat up a bowl of chili. The others in our group ordered subs and 1 hamburger (which is the only one left that could be ordered) There was no meat for the steak hoagies. It was 1 hour later before any of our group got food. At this time, the waitress ask us what we ordered/ We informed her 2 bowls of chili. How long does it take to heat a bowl of chili. Finally at 6:45, my husband and I left without being served. One other couple still had not received their order when we left, and they had order what the others had order. Very poor service. We will not ever go...
