Absolutely terrible. We decided to give this place a try based on the positive reviews, but I'm not sure we experienced the same food. We ordered a cheese pizza, buffalo pizza, and mozzarella sticks. Buffalo pizza was passable, though the woman on the phone was very confused when we asked to put Buffalo as base instead of red sauce. Cheese pizza was awful (see picture). Very scarce cheese, flavorless sauce and crust. Honestly tasted like a frozen pizza. In addition to being flavorless, the crust was also hard as a rock. Mozzarella sticks seemed to have either not been cooked enough or were cooked before the pizzas were prepared because they were cool and the cheese was not gooey. For the price we paid, very disappointing (two small pizzas and mozzarella sticks came to $33).

8/24 Update: Still great as ever and only getting better. Now, Savoula offers frozen pizza for a fair price. There isn't a better pizza place for the customer service, food quality and price. Highly recommend this fine establishment. Absolutely fantastic pizza with homemade dough and sauce. Generous toppings and extremely fair prices. Avoid transaction fees by paying with cash. The chicken tender plate was good. Steak subs are great!!!!! Before 1:30 p.m., there are $1.50 slices available. Perfect opportunity to find out the taste. Service is A+. Well worth a detour!

Pizza is on the drier side without as much sauce, but still pretty good. (We did a takeout of meat lover's, pepperoni, and cheese pies. I like my pizzas with more sauce, so I'm the outlier here. Plus, I think this is just a New England thing.) Brownies were surprisingly good despite being pre-made and packaged. They seem to be a shop that's ALWAYS busy; it just feels hectic, but at the same time, it's like a well-oiled machine and everyone seems to just "get it done." Love seeing when a place just "works!"

I absolutely love the pizza and subs! I wish i could take it with me i will say this i am picky instantly turned off by the tiniest of flavor mishap and i will NEVER eat sub### again i literally ate THE whole sub both times and for me THAT says alot! The same with their pizza GUARANTEED to eat until im full which also speaks volumes! The staff are by far the sweetest people ive ever met in a mom&pops style pizza place. Clean restaurant&bathrooms and cold options for drinks. I see they have frozen pizzas and will be attempting to carry some with us on our road trip coming up!I PROMISE your going to like the...
