Amazing beer garden and eatery near Farmington (technically, Farmington Falls). It's on Rte 2, so you can find it.

For the purposes of full disclosure, I was paid to play music there. But, truth-be-told, if I just happened to roll-in from a Saturday drive and had the same experience, I'd still be five-starring this.

The setting, outdoors, in a field, near an old barn, with a hayfield nearby (being hayed when I started playing) is idyllic. If that was simply it, the surroundings would be a plus. But, add to it a really well-planned beer, food experience, and then making the effort to set-up a rustic stage, with lights strung around, with a covered tent for larger gatherings, and this is a real worthwhile place to take a drive to experience on a Saturday afternoon (and I'm sure, a Friday night or Sunday, too).

The people there while I was playing were a nice mix of young and old. Couples with dogs, children, there was a family gathering under the tent. The crowd dug what I was playing, which is often more obscure covers than the average run-of-the-mill performer, although I do play "Wonderwall," folks. What was nice, here, is that people appreciated my own songs.

The owners are the best. Keely made sure I put in an order for food before I was done playing. She made me a wonderful veggie, gluten-free pizza and then, when I was sitting with an old friend and her family after I'd packed up at the end of the night, she brought me out a beer. As busy as it was and as well-cared for as her patrons were, she still had the sense to be sure the music performer was also part of her circle of concern and care. This is all-too-rare in my experience playing music, More often than not, you get paid and that's it. And that's fine.

I would definitely go back just to sit and have a beer and food and here someone else playing music.

Oh, and they have a wonderful indoor dining area. I'm guessing that this can be rented out for parties and...

This review is primarily for the highland cattle experience. We are from GA and were in Maine for vacation so we have absolutely zero affiliation with either business. We were actually the first group to do the highland cattle experience and we loved every minute of it. I would say that for the first trip they’ve done it went very smoothly. I don’t think there’s a kinks they even need to work out. Communication about the trip was easy and excellent through the farmhouse. Geoff was waiting for us there and took my family directly to the farm in his truck. We actually got to visit with two types of cattle there. Geoff owns and operates the farm and is super knowledgeable. He had plenty of cold beverages for us and snacks for the cattle. My kids had a blast and of course the cattle are gorgeous. He had some pretty fresh calves there as well which of course are adorable. This is a working farm so expect no frills, walking through some tall grass etc. I really appreciate Geoff’s conscious farming practices and how he respects the land. He’s the real deal and we need more of him! I highly...

We stopped in to the beer garden this evening on our way home from visiting friends in New Vineyard. We googled a place to eat for outdoor dining and Google recommended this place. Omg! We couldn’t have lucked out any better than to have found this gem. What a fabulous outdoor spot to have a beer and food and enjoy the view. We snagged a great spot near an out door fire that we were able to stoke ourselves! Our kids loves it too because there was a massive old tree with a swing and they got to have “Shirley Temples”. The pizza was very good and the nachos & the BLT! The service was excellent and we and the kids really liked that the servers wore masks when delivering the food. The beer was a great selection of local brews . It was the perfect way to end our leaf peeping day! Great job to those who run this place and we wish you many more years of success! We...

Got chatting with the owner & they only just opened in 2020 (great timing, right?)! We arrived with 3 kids in tow & they were instantly entertained playing corn hole & swinging from the tree swing, which left us to enjoy some excellent Maine brews on tap (Tumbledown, Oxbow & Lone Pine to name a few!). Their nachos & pizza were 100% delicious! Plus, the atmosphere & views were so lovely, we didn't want to leave. Will definitely be coming back! We bought a Farmhouse beer glass to remember the wonderful time we had! 🍕🍻💯👍
