This is small town America at its best! Passed through on the way to Winchester and we were thoroughly impressed with the town. On the way back we had to stop. Walking into this general store is like a step back in time, and it's awesome. The candy store is very cool, there's all kinds of specialty retail candy you don't see in a grocery store, chocolates in the bins and a very cool, vintage nut machine. The nut machine alone is worth the stop, anyone who likes vintage stuff would like that a lot. The merchandise side is cool too, various things and some old stuff too. Great to stop by if you get the chance. The owner was very relaxed and nice, said we could let ourselves in next door and browse the other shop with more furniture like items.
