Finally went to Dudley's today to see what all the fuss was about. Man, what a huge disappointment. Ordered sodas to start. Both were extremely syrup-y with very little carbonation. They were way to sweet to drink. The "Dr Pepper" tasted like fruit punch mixed with cough syrup. Looking at their soda fountain, it's obvious they're using some inferior off-brand stuff. Ordered a Coke as a replacement. Same problem. Syrup to carbonated water mix was extremely sweet, and flat. We drank our waters instead. My wife Ordered the pepperoni pizza. I ordered the chicken strips & fries. The pizza came out 10 minutes before the chicken. It hadn't been sliced. Had to cut pieces with a butter knife. It was cold, too. The crust was burnt, and it just disintegrated when you bit into it. Looks like it's just a large flour tortilla with toppings. There was no sauce, and way too much cheese. Worst pizza we've ever had. The chicken tendies were just kinda meh. Overly breaded with not much meat. Kind of reminded me of what my kids eat at Arby's. Not what I was expecting from a sports bar. The menu said it came with jalapeño ranch, which I was really looking forward to. The tray came out with ketchup. I asked my server for the ranch. Glad I did because it make the tendies much more enjoyable. Great ranch. The fries were about a 4 out of 10. Toast came with it too. That was the most edible thing we were served! Overall, a pretty terrible experience. We were kind of scoping it out while our kids were out of town to see if they'd like anything on the menu. And we've got family coming to TX 4th of July. But, we won't be back. Not recommended. Overblown...

My dad was really excited to watch the Manny Pacquiao vs. Barrios fight, and we thought instead of paying $80 for the PPV at home, we’d make it a night out and enjoy the fight at a bar. I specifically called this bar earlier in the day to ask if they’d be showing the Pacquiao vs. Barrios fight—I mentioned the fighters by name—and I was told yes, they’d have it.
We were ecstatic, so we got there around 7 PM to grab a good spot. We ordered food, drinks, and enjoyed the atmosphere. I even double-checked with our server, again specifically saying the names of the fighters, and she said yes—they’d be showing it around 11 PM. That was fine with us, so we settled in and kept an eye on things online as well.
As the night went on, we realized something wasn’t right. The last fight before what should’ve been the main event ended, but instead of the Pacquiao fight coming on, the screen was showing UFC. That’s when I asked a group of teens we were sharing a table with who they were there to see, and they started naming UFC fighters.
I asked our server again, and she said she’d go check. A guy (manager or maybe the owner) came back and confirmed they were only showing the UFC main event—not the Pacquiao vs. Barrios boxing match.
We were beyond disappointed—especially because this meant so much to my dad. We ended up leaving and paying $80 to watch the fight at home, only to catch it already in the fifth round.
It was honestly one of the worst nights. I just wish the staff had given clear and accurate info from the start. We would’ve made a different choice...
Read moreWe went to Dudley’s on a Saturday afternoon around 6 PM. It’s got a nice vibe, plenty of TV’s, and it also has a party room that you can rent. The night they were there they were short on service staff. The young lady taking care of us was absolutely amazing, but she was also super busy. We saw other servers sitting in chairs talking to people. Not sure what that was all about. The food was really good. We had the candied jalapeno deviled eggs, the hamburger, the chicken fried steak, and the wings. The drinks we had were OK. I could’ve used more tequila and my margarita and the old-fashioned were made with cinnamon and nutmeg. Beer was good. It has a lot of potential for watching your favorite sports on TV. However, they play the music so loud I thought I was at a nightclub. We would ask to have it turned down, but then it would get turned back up. We had to shout to be heard above the music. Background music is always good, but it was just way too loud. it’s a very small place to play the music that loud. I think Dudley has a lot of potential. Again a great place to go watch some sports. They’ve just opened so I’m sure this is...
