Worst service and food I have had at an establishment in a very long time. Waitress took my order 1st then came back to me and asked me what I would like and I said you asked me already. I would like the pepperoni pizza. The food came out but without my pizza. She said sorry I thought you and him were splitting the cheese pizza. I said no we both ordered pizza. She said no problem It takes just a few minutes for a pizza to come out. Fine, but 20 min later still waiting. .. she offered to buy me a dessert on her since there was a mix up and it was my bday. Ok fine, she brings the cake and a box. Meanwhile everyone else in my party is finished eating and I am still waiting for pizza but I have my cake. She removes the empty plates from the table knocking over a full glass of water on my daughters lap . 10 more minutes later pizza after pizza are going out to other customers but still waiting for mine. She finally brings my pizza along with a box. Pizza was not all that. I waited till I got home to try the cake thinking it woold be so good becasue what else could go wrong on my bday dinner. Let me tell you the cake sucked so bad. The icing tasted like peanuts..... Not peanut butter not peanut butter icing but unsalted peanuts put of a can. It was horrible. Son in law said the fish from his fish n chips was "fishy" tasting. My daighter said the Cesar salad tasted like chemicals. The onion rings where...
Read moreMy husband and I enjoy this place very much. We have only been to the Leaders Height location. Once for lunch (not a fan) and twice for dinner. Our second time for dinner we had brought our 2 daughters with us. One is extremely picky and only ordered the fries. Our older daughter is an extreme food critic and is also neurodivergent, so naturally it took her quite some time to make a decision. She also asked our server several questions. His name was Chris. He was so patient and understanding with us and especially ny daughter. He could clearly see how overwhelmed and unsure she was was about herself and the menu. He assured her that if she was not happy, not to worry. Our food came out and she seemed to enjoy it, but all it took was one bite to ruin it. We have no idea what triggered it, but Chris was a trooper and assisted us with figuring out what could be done since she did eat almost half before that trigger.
South County Brewing Co. did not have to remove her meal, but did. We are forever grateful for Chris and the patience he had with us.
He is definitely a 5 star team member in my book! I will definitely ask for him next time I go. Not to get a free meal, but because of his passion and understanding for people...
Read moreThe staff was less than friendly. We walked in, unsure if it was seat yourself or if you needed to be seated. There were at least 5 staff standing around talking. Not one of them addressed us or asked if they could assist us. We finally just decided to sit at the bar where the bar tender appeared to be "annoyed" by working.. He gave us menus but never came back to ask if we wanted food. Not until we were ready for another round. The only reason for the 3 stars was the female bartender that came over was friendly and so personable. The food was fantastic. And the appearance of the building. Other than that unless you really like IPAs pretty much all of the beers are IPAs and if you like subpar unfriendly service find another brewery. This isn't worth the hype. A side note while we were sitting there at least five people came up to the bar to pay their tab becase They couldn't get the attention of the bartenders at the back bar. Apparently patio seating is pub style. Most unfriendly staff at any brewery I've...
