I have a feeling that this restaurant is in financial dire straights, has lazy management/dishwasher or just dirt cheap. The only restaurant in the area that charges upcharges for giving the customer an extra plate (empty) So much for Christian virtues! Should practice what they preach...IMO ,They are basically stealing money (so to speak) from the hard working waitresses that work for little of nothing. The empty plate surcharge usually gets the tip reduced to reflect the Bread Of Life's greedy empty plate practices. In turn sad to say, this type of behavior reflects on the atmosphere as well. This is not New York City. Who knows what else they are doing like this. My buddy and his wife refuses to eat here anymore because of this practice and so do I...

We attended for my mom's 90th birthday party. 9 ppl The waitresses got the orders mixed up. Got charged for a coffee 2.00 we didn't order, my brother didn't get charged at all for his meal, sis in law had to re order hers because they were out of a specific salad. We waited quite awhile for our food, it came out in random ways one here one there, it was crowded and we ended up smashed between two other tables. My mom is handicapped in a power chair not alot of mobile room to work with. It was the 1st time a I ate there and probably will be the last. Also the handicapped spots are NOT very accessible for a wheelchair or other mobile devices. My portion sizes were...

I hate to give this place a relatively low review, because I seriously doubt it's their fault--but if you're looking at this because Google showed you this restaurant as having significant "vegan" or "vegetarian" options, Google screwed you, because nothing at this (apparently lovely, staffed with very friendly people, with a nice atmosphere) restaurant is plant based. You'll be stuck with French fries and maybe green beans off the sides menu... And you're going to have to ask whether there's any pork flavoring the beans.

Again, this is not their fault, it's Google's fault, but do not go here looking for plant based options. They...

During covid they had time to give the place a fresh look! I love the color they chose. The wall art deco and photo paintings were a charming touch. Thought the below photo I took of this creative cross was a great conversation piece too! Eating there was very Homey and peaceful. The food was "icing on the cake" The servers were kind. PS. During nice weather you can eat outside too!

Great food and friendly staff! Our server was Erin who was very attentive. They have good coffee! The food was very good and they use fresh vegetables in the omelets. Two Philly cheese steak omelets, home fries w/ onions and two coffees $28 very reasonable. If you are out this way stop in at this restaurant you will not be disappointed.

Very delicious food. Service was outstanding. Very polite staff and really good atmosphere. Had the western omelet never had it with a whole piece of ham it was great. My wife had the cinnamon French toast and she said it was delicious. Would highly recommend.
