Hardee’s — Restaurant in Fayetteville

The era of receiving fresh food and friendly service has ended. Like so many once beloved fast food chains, Hardee's has become just another filthy, unfriendly desperation food chain. I, like many, here in Fayetteville, am a hard worker. I wake up before the sun rises and usually leave work as it's setting. Being a hard worker, I sometimes rely on the convenience of local fast food chains for a no hassle breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Hardee's, specifically the Hardee's located on Murchison Road, has demonstrated a significant decline in its desire to provide friendly service and fresh meals. After leaving work, I decided to stop in for a quick, fresh meal before resting at home. Unfortunately, I received nothing friendly nor fresh for the money paid. Upon entering the dining area, I noticed a large number of flies, sticky floors, trash on the tables, and an opened trash receptical without a trash bin. I approached the counter and was ignored by several employees. When an employee finally decided that she had the time to take my order, there was no greeting, no "How may I help you?" Just an annoyed sigh and stare. After waiting for approximately 10-12 minutes, the employee bagged my order, sat it on the counter, and walked away. Both my ham and cheese and burger were old. The stale buns, hard cheese, and dried condiments were a clear sign. The only item that happened to be fresh were the fries that I had to wait on. Hardee's

So, I started with no fountain drinks available. That was awesome, but sometimes this happens. Every now and then, you get the restaurant on a bad day. So fine, I asked for a large vanilla shake, no whip cream. Now, it's been a while since I've come to Hardee's since I've been to FT Hood for the last 6 years, but when did large mean small and not even filled all the way. They'll say that the rest is to fill up on whip cream, but even then, that's a heck of a lot of space for whip cream!! BTW: The shake had a slight tilt towards the camera, so even then, it looked low on shake.

Burger did not come out like the picture, but that's expected. Burgers haven't come out like the picture since the 80s, maybe the early 90s. Overall, it was a little higher than a mediocre experience for a meal that came out to $17.25. (One meal for one person)

Fries were pretty good. It's been a while since I've had the little wavy fries. Again, I ordered large, but it looks like McDonald's small size.

I'm sorry, but since I last came to Fayetteville, the Hardee's gave out much better quality meals. I understand the prices since we're going through the whole inflation issue, but the quality should not have faltered. I'll give it a few years to see if this particular Hardee's can get their act together.

Highly disappointed with my meal here. First thing, the only reason they are getting 2 stars is the ex silent work of the cashier. Perfect example of what a cashier should be, nice, personable, and friendly. Now onto the food. The burger I received was luke warm and made extremely sloppy. It only had ketchup and mayo but slide around when picked up, even in the wrapping they put it in. Ketchup and mayo dripped from it. Was not appetizing at all. The fries were warm and tasted of starch, which should not happen with the type of fries that they use. The restraunt itself was dirty with multiple tables that needed cleaning.
