I have never felt so unwelcomed to a Starbucks in my life. I waited at the screen in the drive through for 20 minutes, without anyone speaking to me or saying anything about being closed when I repeatedly said “hello?” About 4 times during that 20 minutes. There was no sign stating they were closed. I drive all the way to the window and there’s a sign taped to the window saying they’re “closed for a store event” I had no way to know that as it was nowhere near the drive through. When I pulled up to the window, this female employee with a brown ponytail and light skin rudely points to the sign in the door and I ask for a manager and she says nope we’re closed through the glass and very rudely points to the sign again. I don’t know why she had to be so rude. I simply wanted to let a manager know there isn’t a sign saying they’re closed on the drive through screen. So now not only did I leave with my feelings hurt from a rude employee, I also wasted 20 minutes and left with no Starbucks. The least she could have done was inform me they were closed instead of letting me sit there for 20 minutes with no sign to even let me know they were closed. This all happened at 5:20pm. We typically order 3 drinks, we will get 1 drink..then 10 minutes later after the batista has made umpteen online orders to sit and melt on the counter we will get another drink. Then add another 10 minutes to that and we get our 3rd. This shop inside is no less than a 25 minute wait for drinks. They blame the print out system that it doesn't print the whole order at once which is bad. So we started going through the drive thru to get all our drinks at once. Which is usually a 15 minute wait, However the last time was 40 minutes for 2 drinks and 2 sandwiches. I completely understand business like this I work with the public in a fast service type industry but it'd help if the tickets were printed all at once. I mean in those 30 minutes inside I've never seen anyone walk in yet and get an online order that's melting on the counter but they are just stacked up. Earlier today I did an online order (As i usually do) with a pick up time at 11:10. I get to the store and walk inside expecting my order. Now, my coffee was there.BUT. My double smoked bacon was not. How could this be? How could they possibly forget my double smocked bacon gouda? I didn’t think much of it.
