The food was great, we got wings and artichoke dip. The wings were delicious. Sweet heat sauce was awesome. The beer was good, mostly IPA's on tap, but they were all tasty. Definitely would be back if we lived closer.
The female bartender was super nice, very friendly, and informative.
The male bartender (tall bald guy) was pretty rude. Walked past me at the bar multiple times, finally stopped and just took the glasses without asking if I wanted anything else. I stopped him to see if they had any stouts and before I could even finish the question he interrupts me with "we just have what's on the screen" and walks away. I was the only person at the bar, so I'm not sure why he was in such a rush.
The female bartender asked me what I wanted to drink, and was super nice, she thought I wanted a sour, offered a few options I told her it was a stout I was looking for, she apologized and said they didn't have any at the time. Makes sense, it's summer.
Dude walks back around the corner with a sour and sits it on the counter and when she corrected him and told him I was looking for a stout he said "I definitely heard him say sour" and walked away. He wasn't even standing there and never let me finish the question so not sure how he'd even know what I said.
Maybe have him wash dishes or something instead of interacting...
Read more10/18/2024: Have to admit big turnaround in the alcohol content of the beer. Still a great mix of beer with the Lap Dog stout being my favorite. We got gyros from their kitchen today and they were both awesome. They still have the handmade mugs which are even better than I remembered. Unfortunately I still couldn't come up with a way to join their mud club or even steal one of those mugs. I was able to buy a custom handmade growler but it is pretty expensive.
10/15/2022: I know this doesn't seem to make sense, but the overall rating is mainly based on the beer. They did have a good variety with 2 IPAs, some lagers, 1 stout and 1 seltzer. Our favorite was hands down the Folktober Fest brew. I really wanted to like these brews but the alcohol content was just too low with 6 of the 8 in the 3.8 to 4.5 range. There was an IPA at 7.8 and the Freetober Fest at 5.5. Anyway none were bad, but most just kinda tasted the same. Now they did have a good BBQ food truck and the overall facility is awesome. I'm not sure whose the artist but you have to go by just to see how the walls are painted. Also if I lived in the area I'd join their mug club just for the AWESOME hand made mugs. I tried to buy one, but no luck. Finally they have both indoor and big outdoor...
Read moreGreat little place with delicious beer, great food, awesome staff, and a perfect atmosphere. The inside of the brewery is plenty spacious, clean, and fun. Might be a little dark but adds to the atmosphere. The outside includes a huge covered gravel area with many 2, 3, and 6 people tables. There's also a covered stage for live music. We went on a rainy Friday afternoon and enjoyed delicious soft tacos and IPAs (be careful with the IPAs, they go down really easy but some boast a ~8% alcohol percentage!). The outside tables were wet (somehow, even though they were covered), but the wait staff gave us towels for the table and we stayed dry the remainder of the evening. I'd love to see this place on a night with a band. Summer, one of the bartenders, was an angel!! It's ADA compliant with access to the inside, but I wouldn't push a wheelchair over the gravel, though it is totally possible with plenty of room between tables...
