Pizza Empire — Restaurant in Federalsburg

Many years ago I worked at the Pizza Empire in Denton and I loved their pizza. Different location and different decade but still tasted like I remembered. Finding the location was super easy. It's right in downtown Federalsburg near the light at main and central. Parking lot right next door. I'm old enough to remember when this location was a candy shop! Ambiance was still early aughts pizza shop/Italian restaurant but I dig the nostalgia. It's not corporate and it's not trying to be. I ordered ahead on the website and the food was ready and waiting (but still hot) on time. Staff was friendly and greeted me when I entered, immediately came over for service, and I was in and out in 2 minutes. Now that I live closer to this location, I'll probably make it my default...

I am usually very happy with ordering food to be delivered from here but tonight was a disappointment. Tonight I wanted to try something new so I ordered a 20 piece boneless chicken at $20.00. When it arrived I notice that the chicken was freezer burnt and tasted as if it was old like it sat under heat lamps for hours. Any cook that would let that to leave their kitchen should be fired on the spot. Because I don't have major issues from them like this I am willing to give them one more chance but right now I am very disgusted with them.

Oh and I had to throw the entire thing away and fix something else which is what I didn't want to do hence me ordering out. $20 buck right...

Ordered curbside online. Message said it would be out to me between a certain time. Site also said curbside stopped at 9:30 PM. They called me at 9:45 to tell me it was ready and said I was suppose to call for curbside when I arrived. Informed them that's not how it was worded on the site. They had a attitude and asked me if I was in ( described my vehicle in detail) I'm like yes.. the one that's been parked here since 9:22... The hung up on me and brought it out and dropped it on my passengers seat. "Oh sorry" and walked off. Doubt...
