The Stonehouse — Restaurant in Fell Township

A good time is a short way to put my experience here. Pretty packed full of people, and a man playing a guitar and singing country songs. Just a load of people enjoying themselves, and it was infectious.

On the food side of things, ordered pickle chips, pierogis, a burger, and 'stoner fries'. The pickles I won't bother much with, they were pretty poor. Super soft, zero crunch, not much flavor apart from, obviously, pickle. Pierogis though, an absolute delight. Packed full of potato and flavor on these ones.

Burger was above standard, but again, not much special about it. A probably strange complaint is a personal one, where I know what I ordered, but was given a burger with bacon on it, and I kinda hate bacon. Just had to take it off is all. The stoner fries, slathered in cheese, chili, and jalapenos, another thing that wasn't amazing, but certainly wasn't bad.

Service I could say was a bit lacking, but I can see it from a different perspective. Place was absolutely packed, I almost couldn't find a place to even park. That they were able to juggle so much at once is impressive as all hell, so compliments to that. From sitting down to being given a menu and asked what I would like was under ten minutes for sure, and seriously, nearly nowhere to sit even. Think there were only two, maybe three servers. Went there on Thursday night, we had Alicia k as our server, we put in a order of boneless wings and drinks we ordered a pizza for takeout at 8:45 , it was 7:27 when we ordered,that was the last we saw our server until she stopped and grabbed our empty plates (witch the bartender delivered to us because the server was nowhere to be found) when I asked the bartender were was our server she said " that's a good question" when I needed a second beer I had to flag the bartender. At 9:00 we had to go up to the bar and ask if our take out pizza was ready (15 min late) it was not. when I told our server we had some where to be at 8:45 that's why we ordered it to go for 8:45 over a hour ago, she got belligerent with us and started bitching at us because we wouldn't wait for out 15 minutes late pizza. She told us she was slammed with people, there was two tables inside and three to four tables outside.This is not the first time we had poor service at this establishment BUT IT WILL BE THE LAST. We go out of our way to visit this place, but we will never go there again. Would not...

This USED to be me and my boyfriends fave place to go! Had great food, amazing drink specials, good atmosphere, live tunes and excellent service. I don't know what happened! We have been there approximately once or twice a month for the last few months and it is TERRIBLE. We have officially decided we can't go there anymore. Food now sucks, drink specials are gone, service is HORRIBLE. Don't know any server names but it appears that every good one has abandoned ship. They have one new waitress in particular who is horrendous. She complains, makes you feel bad about ordeing things, makes weird and rude passive aggressive jokes, and talks about needing a smoke. We sadly had to deal with her 3 times and each time was a disappointment. And when you show up 20 minutes before kitchen closes they say its too late. We have been loyal and polite customers, spent a lot on food and drinks, are good tippers, for about 3 years now, but we are officially taking our business elsewhere! Such a shame!
