Whiskey Glasses Saloon — Restaurant in Fenton Charter Township

My husband and I were really excited to check out the new country bar in town, but unfortunately, it fell far short of our expectations. What was once a lackluster lakeside bar now seems like it just got a fresh coat of paint and a few country-themed decorations, but that’s about it. The ambiance was flat—there’s a kitchen window right in the center of the space, letting in way too much light and totally disrupting the vibe. The music was a disappointing mix from TouchTunes, which didn’t quite capture the country atmosphere we were hoping for; a jukebox would have been a much better fit. To top it off, a waitress took a break and ate what seemed to be brussels sprouts nearby, filling the air with an overpowering smell that nearly rivaled the lemon cleaning solution that had been lingering earlier. Visited on 8/1/25 We stopped in for a quick drink and were lucky enough to be served by Claire (originally from Illinois)—she was so sweet and personable, definitely a highlight of our visit!

Happy Hour well drinks were a great deal at just $1.75 each, and after seeing how affordable the bill was, we decided to stick around a little longer and try the Trash Can Nachos. They weren’t bad at all! My only suggestion would be to layer the nachos a bit more evenly—like a lasagna—so the toppings are spread throughout rather than just on top.

One odd thing we noticed was that there were about a dozen servers on staff, but many were just standing around. Maybe it gets busier later on, but it felt a bit off at the time.

Though it was a very slow Thursday night, we still enjoyed our 1st visit here. Kaysie P was our server. She was prompt and polite..atmosphere was on point for the theme, restaurant was very clean, food very tasty!! Definitely should be a summer fun hotspot.. liked that they had a pool table! Definitely give it a try if you haven't yet. The only critique we had was the rolls.. they were ok, but seasoned with Italian flavors and served with a honey butter. Just didn't make much sense.
