Good chow. Great little burger stand on the front (North) end of Ferndale but look sharp or you'll easily miss it. Burgers of course but the hotdog, BLT and milkshake are also first rate. Onion rings are fresh, not frozen and they're packed into a large serving bag ($4.50) or you can get a mixed bag of rings & fries, which, while frozen, are nicely done. Sodas come in the can, no ice. (When you see how small this place is, you'll understand why they don't have ice.) Waiting time: Normal. Value: Decent. Handicap access: They'll come outside to take your order. Park on the street or pull in; crossing the street may take patience or it could be a breeze, changing from minute to minute.

The place is easy to miss. We drove right by it, even with directions. But, that only enhances the quaintness of this little burger stand. Dine-in is really just a picnic table, but it makes perfect sense for the No Brand Burger Stand. I ordered the jalapeño bbq burger. It was fantastic. My daughters ordered plain cheeseburgers and really enjoyed them. As soon as we walked into the burger stand, we were greeted warmly and with enthusiasm. Such kindness you only really get in a small town these days. We deliberately went off the main highway to have lunch here. We were not disappointed. You won't be either.

Split a Bacon Cheeseburger and Fries with my girlfriend. The portion of french fries was very generous. Crispy outside fluffy inside. At least at first. The bag was so big by the time we got to the bottom of the bag 15 minutes later the fries were getting mushy. Eat the fries fast! Lol. The burger was cooked well. Almost no pink. Flavor of the beef was very good and the bacon thick and crispy. A very good burger! My girlfriend even mentioned she liked the bun. I will stop here again next time I'm in Ferndale. I didn't try the onion rings but heard they are great.

GREAT TASTING BURGER! I got the bacon hamburger and it was delicious! This place in Ferndale is SO worth the little detour off 101 and a requirement if your plan was to "let's get food in Eureka." No way! Skip Eureka and you won't be disappointed. LOVED. LOVED. LOVED IT!

A word of caution: the indoor seating is virtually zero. No joke. Like four bar stools that I am pretty sure were just intended to be something to sit on while you wait for your order. They do have some picnic tables outside near a funky drive through area (about five trucks drove through in the 30 minutes we were eating, but the drivers were super careful about any kids playing about). If it is raining or the bench seats are still wet then this could be a much less pleasurable dining experience but the food would still taste incredible. Do it, you won't be sorry.

The food is very, very reasonably priced too. I might even say cheap but that might give you the wrong impression. The food is well-priced, how about that?

The service was good too. The girl working the counter (on Sunday) was probably about 12 but she handled things like a pro. Took our orders, answered questions and even delivered my milkshake just when they were closing up...

The food is all right, although certainly not the best burger I have ever had. The reason for the one star review is the terrible service. The guy that helped us (the owner) was basically a rude jerk when taking our order and didn’t seem to really care about decent customer service. You know how sometimes you go in a store or restaurant and the person helping you makes you feel like it’s an inconvenience that you are there… It was like that. We then waited about 35 minutes for our names to be called. I finally went to check on the order and he said “Oh it’s been ready it’s right here”. It had obviously been sitting out for at least 10 minutes, as the fries were cold. He did not apologize for not calling out our order (although his wife did), and she even asked him why he had not called out our order (he didn’t respond). I asked how long it had been waiting there, again he basically just ignored me and gave no response. Lastly, our order wasn’t even right! We got (cold) regular fries instead of garlic fries. This may be a local favorite, but our experience was not a good one, and a slightly above average burger and very ordinary fries is not a sufficient reason for us to...

Went with my family even though I don’t eat beef - funny right? But they wanted to go so I planned to just grab some fries. Then I saw they had a veggie sandwich so I ordered it fully expecting a slice of cheese and some wilted lettuce. Boy was I wrong! The lovely lady behind the counter suggested I get it with bleu cheese and offered to drizzle on some of their house made ranch dressing, and I am so glad I listened!

My sandwich came on a beautiful buttery roll with grilled onions, tomatoes, fresh lettuce. The blue cheese was delicious and the ranch pulled it all together. She even put in an onion ring! Soooo good, honestly one of the best no meat burgers I’ve ever had.

They also offer a fun thing called “frings” - half order each of onion rings and fries so you don’t have to choose between the two! Fries were good. Onion rings were fantastic. Came with house made dipping sauce which was the perfect addition.

The staff was so helpful and friendly - I can’t...
