Our Diner — Restaurant in Ferndale

Had an excellent breakfast with my father today, and was probably the best service we have had from any restaurant in a long time, Coffee was fresh and served as soon as we took our seats and the creamer bucket was always full with a variety of flavors like hazelnut and French vanilla, etc. the rock & roll special in definitely my usual breakfast meal, the hash-browns were awesome and even more with the many choices of hot sauce that they had to offer! Eggs were perfect, bacon was just-right, i like by bacon bendy and not to crisp, sausages were cooked to perfection, and the pancakes were amazing. and a very cool looking milkshake bar as-well. The customer service was absolutely amazing, my compliments to the waitress from this morning at around 8:25am, treated us with the upmost respect, and service, and always checked in with-us on how we were doing and how the food was going, etc. definitely will continue coming back. Hello blue hoody guy just left. Just don't with this place. I think they giving up or something. Man this was such dissapointment in quality and proportion I appreciate the service. I'm not even gonna post the pictures. But all they did was give me all the hashbrowns they could even though it was just an add on and I guess the burnt thin layer thick mushy barely cooked inside boiled tasting hash browns they put off on me they thought would trick me into thinking I was getting what I paid for.. and filled up literally my whole tray and made my meal an all hashbrown mushy tray forget room for anything else... how to hustle your customers 101... nice even put cash tip anyways just don't unless maybe they know you.. our diner.. so misleading maybe our diner should be we're retiring 😔 I paid 34$ plus cash tip 40$ for two whole potatoes and 4 biscuits with gravy only half that edible ok rant over...

My boyfriend brought me here today. This is my first visit to Our Diner. We were greeted politely within a few seconds of walking in the door.staff said we could choose a table so we did. We waited only a minute or two and a nice waitress came to ask if we would like drinks. We ordered coffee and she came with it promptly. My boyfriend ordered chicken fried steak platter and loved it, portions were HUGE! I ordered French toast platter and it too was HUGE! It came with4 pieces of bacon! Everything was delicious and we appreciated the friendly attentive staff. We even had our coffee topped off regularly without needing to ask. It was busy too and they were still stellar.
