Last time myself and 5 others will eat here. If we could give lower then the one star we would. It doesn't help the time prior to this we had service issues as well however we didn't mention anything to the manager. We paid and left that time. We figured we would give them the benefit of the doubt that the service would be better this time. There were many issues that occurred with our food and service. This is just naming a few. Waited almost 2 hours for our food. (Mind you they were not even busy on this particular Sunday). We drank water and ordered simple Mexican food. Some of the orders were wrong along with the food not tasting good at all. My fajitas chicken/steak mix I had gotten to put on tortillas had 6 nickel size pieces of meat on the whole plater. The rest of the plater was a heaping pile of onions. When speaking to the manager. She immediately wanted to blame a handful of 15-year-olds she had working for her. She stated that she hired them because they are the only people they found willing work. I explained to her it had nothing to do with the 15 year old waitress nor particularly the other 15 year old employees that worked there. It was straight up poor service, wait time and above all the quality of food (the manager was the one that had cooked the food) She stated she would take care of it and told me she would fix the bills. Upon the waitress bring me my bill. I noticed the manager had given me a whole $1.49 discount. The other 2 bills reflected similar discounts. We were in disbelief. I again spoke to the manager. Needless to say I left hungry with only $5.00 off my bill and the same for the other 2 bills. She seemed to think that it was a great discount and somehow made up for the whole ordeal. We left very unhappy needless to say. Before leaving we all approached the young 15 year old waitress and tipped her well and assured her that it wasn't her fault. She smiled and thanked us. (We definitely didn't want to discourage a young person from wanting a job) Though never again will...
Read moreVery disappointed in the HORRIBLE customer service experience I had at Oler’s last night. To sum it up in two words: RUDE and ARGUMENTATIVE.
I ordered my food through a food delivery service. When the food was delivered, the ticket was correct, the entire order of food in the bag was wrong. I tried to call back and talk to the manager about the incorrect food order and the exceptionally long wait time we had. I was told that she was on the phone and I asked to hold and wait two times- the staff only checked with me for the first few minutes and did not ask what I needed or why I needed the manager- they appeared to just put the phone down and walk away and had an annoyed tone of voice.
I ended up waiting on the line for 17 MINUTES waiting to speak to the manager. I had enough time to DRIVE to the restaurant without any one even checking on me on the phone. I WALKED in to the restaurant still on HOLD waiting to talk to the manager. When I walked in, she was walking around by the bar and actually was the first employee I encountered- I even showed her my phone and that I was on hold waiting to talk to her. I gave her the bag of food and showed her the ticket, telling her it was wrong and we had already waited a very long time for this food. She immediately began to argue with me- she denied knowing that anyone was waiting to talk to her on the phone, she argued with me about the length of time that I waited, and then she blamed the delivery service for giving me the incorrect order. She was argumentative and overall rude. I waited on my order at the bar. When I finally received it, she FINALLY apologized, but her tone of voice was quite frankly again rude and dismissive. She proceeded to throw her bar staff under the bus again one final time and claim that they never told her that she had a call waiting as well.
This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I will NEVER eat here again, and I will NEVER recommend this...
Read moreOlers Bar & Grill at 708 Lima Avenue in Findlay, Ohio serves Mexican quisine. From the outside it looks questionable, but the interior is quite simple and comfortable. The dining area is separated from the main barroom. We were a party of six who was asked to wait while our table was set up (we had no reservations). The Hostess was friendly and seated us as soon as our table was ready, which took no time. I ordered the Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich that came with fries and sliced pickles. There was easily a half pound of pork on a large bun with sesame seeds... and it was good. The other five guests each ordered different items and seemed to enjoy their dishes as well. Our waitress was friendly and patient, but not entirely attentive. There was an incorrect beverage served, neither was there any catsup or extra bottles of hot sauce on the table and none was offered. She may have been new and inexperienced so based on that possibility, I will overlook the errors this time. My fries, which were thick cut were somewhat dry and served with no salt, but that's a plus. All in all, our experience was positive and we will return. As of this writing, there is a lot of construction in the area so be prepared to drive through...
