Crazy Mary's Cafe — Restaurant in Finlayson

Greeted with rudeness before even seated and so we turned around and left immediately. The sign at the door had no welcome or thank you for stopping in. Started right out with Flatly stated in bold print, being short staffed and told patrons to not be 'rude'. And do not sit at a dirty table. At the very bottom was a statement to not seat yourself. My husband took one step past the sign and was yelled at from across the entire restaurant from a wait staff. We then right after, witnessed a patron try to lighthearted say the coffee could be refilled and received a lecture about how they only have one cook and no matter how many tickets go in to the kitchen they will only come back out so fast. We thought to ourselves, " what does that have to do with getting a cup of coffee poured?" The waitress was new & it was clear she didn't have much training. There's a policy of a maximum of 6 people per table but 7 people took a table next to mine & one diner took a chair from another table & sat at the head of his table which put him closer to me than he should have been, causing me to move my table away from his. No one on the staff told him some of the group would have to sit at another table. Ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich & menu stated it would be "smothered" in sauce but there wasn't enough to even taste it. Don't go to this Crazy Mary's Cafe! Instead go to "Whistle Stop Cafe". You will thank me for this hint. I had a really poor experience at this place. A particular waitress working on this past Sunday 6/2 around noonish was not friendly at all. She made me feel very uncomfortable and like I was not wanted there. Very passive-aggressive, and it is all probably because I look foreigner. On the other hand, the people from the city they seem to be very friendly and nice.
