Homestead Bakery and Cafe in Firth Nebraska is well worth the drive from Lincoln. We have stopped in at Homestead twice since the new owner has taken over and both visits have been outstanding! The food has been great both times (highly recommend the red hot red head burger) and the staff has been genuinely kind and attentive, for a charming small town cafe experience.
