I have to applaud the dedication on display here. Since the new management took over, we've been here around 10 times, and they have achieved an impressive 90% error rate on my orders. That level of consistency in inconsistency takes real talent. Their speciality seems to be defying the very nature of the twist ice cream. They have the machine. It swirls. Yet, requesting a twist cone is apparently a request too complex, too challenging for this ice cream shop 8 or 9 times out of 10. They've also mastered the art of the dramatic hand-off. Picture this: ice cream, already mid-collapse, overflowing like a dairy volcano, presented to you as if this is perfectly normal. Let's talk about the sundaes. Ordering raspberry and getting blueberry is one thing. Notifying the employee to make another and getting another blueberry? Sad. I felt bad asking for raspberry a third time
Another time I witnessed an interesting debate: "Does a banana split... contain banana?" The uncertainty. The older woman suggested to consult the customer on this. It's a banana split genius.

Was in on Thursday and bought a Monster Choc PB shake and A large PB shake they were awful and tasted sour. I threw them in the trash. I had a million things going on as I am dealing with the death of a family member so I called the next day to tell them there was and issue. I told them the problem and the girl quickly said yeah we had complaints about our peanut butter…. I then asked if the shakes could be replaced… she says the owner says NO…. My family and I have gotten ice cream once or twice a week from here for the past 2 seasons needless To say you have lost my business over 2 shakes. Terrible way to treat a loyal customer…. Read moreIt saddens me to have to write this review. We moved to the area about 4 years ago and Kold Kup was our go to for delicious frozen treats. I’m not sure if management has changed hands or what but wow has the service taken a dump to say the least. Often we will go in and there will be several workers standing around while one struggles to fill our order. We’ve seen families of four come in and the first one is done with their ice cream before the last one gets theirs. Again, while staff stands around and never jumps in to help. I’d like to say it’s due to the youth of the staff but I watch the owner walk past the long line as well never jumping in to assist. Very unhappy with the service.
