THESE PEOPLE THAT OWN IT ARE ROBBING PEOPLE. STRAIGHT UP . I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY CAN GO TO SLEEP AT NIGHT AND REST KNOWING HOW THE ECONOMY IS AND THEY'RE GOING TO CHARGE AS MUCH AS THEY CHARGE FOR EVERYTHING IT'S RIDICULOUS ONE PIECE OF PIE AND A 2 L COKE $12 NO SENSE IN IT NO SENSE AT ALL I'LL NEVER GO BACK THERE EVER.. and to top it off they don't even take the Link card.. that is the first store I've seen to not take a Link card in 20 years are they too good for food stamps some people are not as fortunate as others. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was nice, it was decorated with some older stuff.

The we had was good. The was three in our party one had a hamburger & onion rings, another had a fish sandwich and fries and coconut cream pie, I had catfish potato salad, macaroni salad it was all good. Would Highly recommend.

The only problem was it wasn't really handicapped accessible you couldn't really use a walker as one in our party needed to use because of...

Maxwell House is one of my favorite restaurants in Southern Illinois. They have many homemade menu items. From their biscuits and gravy to fresh cut fries to fresh squeezed lemonade, it's all great.
