Big John Steak & Onion — Restaurant in Flint

A flint classic, you can not come to town and not eat here! We grew up on big John's and it's always been a delicious get away of sorts. Prices are up a bit but that's a given like every where else. You can find the chain of big John throughout flint but my favorite is the Clio road store. I have been going to there since a kid, and for a kid a sandwich such as this is a real treat! The staff is friendly the store always clean and the food is great. You have to try the chicken as well as the steak both in a sixteen inches. Also the salads are great and tasted fresh. Don't sleep on the steak salad as well. It's kinda cool to walk in see and smell the food being cooked right in front of you in a clean kitchen! That's another experience upon itself! There's plenty of sub and Chese steak shops through out Michigan but big John's is honestly the best, with the food made in front of you, fast service and their own signature steak sauce! You have to get a sixteen inch because it's so good especially with peppers and the bread tosted! Yummy! I'd eat there every day if I wasn't watching my weight! Steak and onions with toasted bread with melted cheese is probably my favorite then I'd purchase a pop and chip combo to go with it and to enhance the overall experience! Oh my I’m home visiting and of course I wanted a Big John so bad. So I went into the restaurant and order the 12 foot everything except peppers peppers on the side, so as the young lady prepares, to do my food , She took it out of a container and put it on the grill get my bread, put the food in the bread and put in the Microway oven (I thought she was preparing the sandwich for someone else).. I’m just looking because I’m like I know that’s not my sandwich . because you supposed to be grilling everything.. ( I thought) So, of course, she said your order is ready and looking at her like where is this and that she gave me my food ( I know I should of said something but I didn’t say anything( cause she would have put that back in the container)and get in the car opening up took a picture to Go and half of it went to my nephew I taste it I was so disappointed oh my Dry & cold I was going to take it back but I didn’t I brought it home I was gonna remake it but I just didn’t do it. I was so disappointed the whole night, so yeah, my food was nasty so today I will be going out to another location and get me a sandwich. I was on the clip Road location. Oh, but I will be calling...

(Terrible customer service) (Pierson road location), I ordered two 8-inch subs One was made correct but with over excessive amount of mushrooms ,the other one was made wrong with no mushrooms... Called back to the restaurant to let them know of their mistake all they could do was offer me a side of mushrooms, but I had to drive my partial eating sub back to prove that the order was actually messed up. Who wants to drive inconveniently out their way for something that should have been done right the first time. "Terrible customer service" The manager didn't even come...
