i ordered extra sauce and there was hardly any sauce at all. I split a pizza with my daughter and her half had mushrooms and i have to say she had 2/3 of the pizza which was supposed to be half but all her slices with 2x larger than the sliced i got for my side. It seemed like all my slices were smaller We also got the 1/4 load with pepperoni and that was good My wife got a stromboli which was about the size of the 1/4 loaf appetizer we got and it was not worth 15 bucks with the 3 topping she got it was tiny and she said mostly cheese inside Needless to say not too impressed with that order The food was good. I was referred here by some friends that said it was the best pizza in town and i can't agree with that. Again hardly no sauce when i ordered extra sauce the split in half pizza was more of 2/3 and the stromboli for 15 bucks is definitely not worth getting Service was great we had a couple drinks at the bar and they were great as well as the bartenders Everyone was super friendly Overall it was ok just not sure about spending that much again and will not order the stromboli or split a pizza again but will get their own and disable check the sauce

This is one of my all time favorite places to get Italian food! My daughter and I make the 45 minute drive every few months to fulfill our craving! Everything we have tried has been amazing. They have the best Caesar salad I've ever had! It comes loaded with chicken, tomatoes and even hard boiled eggs! It also has onion but I'm not a huge raw onion fan so I get no onion. Their breadsticks our to die for. As our the marinara and alfredo sauces. I usually always get whatever soup is on special which is always good. I finally tried their pizza for the 1st time on our most recent visit. The crust is super thin and somehow tasted even better for my lunch the next day. If you like Italian food, definitely check them out!

My family and I had a great meal at Luigi's in Flint. The "El Toro" had us second guessing if we had the right place, ha ha (looking for pizza restaurant). The thin crust pizza was very tasty! Loved the taste of the sauce and pizza had a great crust/sauce/cheese ratio! Breadsticks were also very good (so good that we had to get another order). Loved the ambience of this place!!! Plenty of great items to check our on the walls. Our server Siera was exceptional, very friendly and efficient! Definitely worth the trip! Thanks for the recommendation Lions Tom! FYI - They do have a credit card surcharge, so bring cash if you don't want to pay that.

I was extremely disappointed! I remember going to Luigi's and ordering a pizza and having it be so full of toppings and If you ordered a meat pizza it would be thin, crispy, and greasy from all the juices from the meat. The last 2 times I have ordered from there, the pizza was so dry it tasted more like cardboard. Last night 8/20/21 I stopped in and ordered the all meat topping pizza thinking that maybe the time before they just had different cooks so I was willing to give it another shot. I ordered the XL size however on one half I wanted to replace the ham with mushrooms (which I was charged for even though the mushrooms clearly cost less then the ham) and I ordered the breadsticks which I was told had butter and parmesean. I get home( I live in Imlay city) and the only thing I can think is that they gave me the wrong pizza or they totally f'd up my pizza. There was no bacon, no ground beef, one half had cheese, pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, the other half had cheese, sausage, mushrooms, and onions. Gross!!!! Oh, and the breadsticks were dry! I get that they were busy but come on! I called and they are going to send me a gift certificate and I am grateful but I'd much rather just have a refund. I wasted $40 on a meal and all we ate were 2 pieces of pizza, I had to pick onions off and 2 breadsticks each that we had to heat and add butter and parmesean to ourselves. I'm sure the pizza was just a mix up but it was still extremely dry and definitely not the luigis I used to love and look forward to getting pizza from. I'll use my gift certificate since I'm certain it will be for luigis but I will never order their pizza. Very...

Uncle and I wanted to try a new restaurant, Luigi's sounded like the pizza would taste more authentic to Italian food. Ratings were high, so we thought we would try. There are 3 different entrances, and it's confusing which one is the right one to enter. The menu was simple, which I liked; the atmosphere is not what I expected. We entered, and the whole place is set up LIKE a restaurant, but the environment is very much bar-oriented. We ordered the 'all meaty' pizza in a medium size, which alone is $30. We got the combo platter to try their deep-fried options. The onion rings were way, way too greasy. The cauliflower had zero flavor. Checkers Rallys has better seasoned mozarella sticks. The ranch had a vinegar-like burn for some reason?? Ranch is buttermilk, mayo, and seasonings, so no idea how or why it had a vinegar after-taste. The pizza was both amazing and awful; the toppings were insanely good. The ham tasted like a Christmas ham (unglazed), and the hamburger tasted like real ground beef, so that's a plus! But the sauce and flat crust had a weird taste. Ruined the whole pizza. My uncle and I typically LOVE pizza... We both had 1 slice each and put it back. We expected a lot more from a $30 pizza. If you want pizza, Jets Pizza is more affordable and tastes better. If you want the "family restaurant" feel with a bar, Apple Bees isn't too far away and has less greasy onion rings. The waitress had a friendly face, but we got the bare minimum treatment for a "family oriented restaurant." I get treated better at Starbucks. I don't think Luigis 1955 would be pleased with...

Service was great for such a busy friday night! The place was super packed you couldn’t even stand up from the table without bumping into the customers sitting next to you or behind you, which I loved and hated after the year we had. But that’s not the point, it was my first time having their pizza, everyone I was with was raving about the pizza so I was excited. It’s basically on a large tortilla, loaded with cheese thicker than the crust & SO greasy all of us used napkins to pat the grease off the pizza. Our table was just filled with grease filled napkins lol. I couldn’t eat more than one slice because I knew my stomach would hate me later, but surprise surprise all 10 of us had to rush to leave because of stomach aches about 20 minutes into eating. The salad was decent but nothing special, we didn’t order anything else thinking the pizza would be filling enough but it wasn’t. I’d definitely go back and try something else because of the great service, but for being a pizza place I was disappointed with the pizza.

Also, if you’re not a fan of lots of drunks, people yelling and singing very loudly then I don’t recommend going on a Friday night. It is a bar so I don’t see anything wrong with it but just a heads up, a large group of ladies wouldn’t stop singing loudly for everyone and a man wouldn’t stop shouting about how annoying the ladies were, very rude of him considering it was someone birthday out of the ladies group but nonetheless to...
