We go here for a “home cooked” meal. We joke snd call it a home cooked meal because we are isubally there once a week.. With 2 little ones in a restaurant, it’s hard to keep them seated. Our friends at Los Molcajetes not only don’t get annoyed with them being tiny terrorist but also embrace their terrorism! 😂 when our oldest was little he ALWAYS got their bobble head dog from the check out counter. There was not a time we were in there that the dog didn’t eat with us. One day we went in and they had him his very own bobble head dog to take home. Such a small gesture made a BIG impact on him. I went for takeout, food is texmex, good, no complaints, the young lady that took my order was quite helpful. I got 2 meals out of just my order. Update on 11/4/20, I ordered pollo fundido, chicken breast cooked with grilled onions, mushrooms, topped with cheese sauce, served with salad and rice. The chicken lacked the mushrooms unless they were pureed and there was no salad and rice. I have to say this is the first time in several years that I had a problem here but I was really disappointed. Having gone a couple more times since the food is back to it's high standards. The girl with skunk hair couldn't have been more rude...didn't smile or offer anything but bitchiness. We asked the difference between tx Marguerite and reg..she said price. I said other than price? She was so annoyed and said more alcohol...no smile..just rude. We asked another wait staff for ticket, refills on water, etc...she never came back. She then told me i was a mess of a customer 🙄🤣.
