I thought it was just may be a bad day, and we all have them. However, the young lady who has been answering the phone and taking the orders has a terrible attitude. Iâve eaten here only a few times and always had a pleasure ale experience, until the last two times with this young woman. She has such an uninviting and rude tone about herself. Now, I havenât eaten at a single restaurant or pizzeria that doesnât serve lemon slices with water when asked. So I when I asked for a slice of lemon to accompany my meal, it shouldnât have been an issue. I could hear it in her voice that she was offended (for some strange reason) by this request. She said âwe donât have lemonsâ. I replied âyou donât add lemon slices to glasses of waterâ, to which she replied very nasty âwe donât have lemonsâ. I find that hard to believe. I cancelled my order all together, because she was just nasty for no reason. Didnât say hold on let check, let me ask. She just didnât want me to have that slice of lemon, which is ridiculous. Been to Sapranos in Florence a few times before because it is right up the road from my mothers assisted living home, not because the food is particularly good (which it's not). This trip my fiancÊ and I stoped in ordered a couple slices to go, only one family eating in who was already eating and content and some take outs going on. I do work there quite a bit so I can assure you that I am well aware of what we have in stock. If for some reason I was uncertain, yes I would have gladly checked for you! However, it was a negligent assumption on my part, that an apology given the first time upon request for lemons would have been sufficient for any person.
