TLDR: great atmosphere (especially at sunset on the patio) and good food.
We visited the Anthem Grille on the first night we were in Arizona, which was nice because it boasted the most beautiful sunset Iāve seen in a while! š
We ordered the Four Peaks WOW beer, which was awesome, and we continued to order it throughout our trip.
We ordered the cheese curds as an appetizer, which were pretty good. I ordered the Fish and Chips, and he ordered the fish tacos- both were just okay.
The service was fine- the server offered to take our photo in front of the sunset, so that was nice, but it took forever to get our bill when we asked for it.
Itās worth a visit to eat outside for the sunset.
2025 UPDATE! :
We revisited and had a pretty good experience. We started with the Spicy Fried Pickles (Our tangy pickle slices coated in a seasoned breading and deep-fried until crispy. Served with chipotle ranch.) They were really tasty and not soggy on the inside which is common with curried pickles in my experience. Perfectly crispy and tangy and the chipotle ranch complemented them well.
Two of us ordered the Caprese Grilled Cheese (Savory twist on the classic grilled cheese, features melty mozzarella, ripe tomato slices, and basil pesto, between buttery, toasted sourdough bread. Drizzled with a balsamicglaze for a sweet, tangy finish.) which was DELICIOUS! Everything melded together well- the flavors, the textures, all of it. I gobbled it up so fast! I ordered mine with sweet potato fries which were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.
One of us ordered the Rueben (A generous portion of corned beef with Sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and 1000 Island dressing served on Marble Rye Bread) which was reported to be very good.
My bf cannot catch a break at this place š¤£. He was hesitant to come here since the last time we visited last year, he didnāt really enjoy his meal. He ordered the Buffalo Mac N Cheese (A zippy twist to Mac N Cheese - Grilled Chicken Breast tossed in our homemade Cheddar Cheese Buffalo Cream Sauce, served with toasted Garlic Bread). I posted pics of the first dish they brought out which featured mealy, overcooked pasta, way too much cheese sauce which left the dish soupy and frankly inedible. I had a bite as he asked me what I thought (I love Mac n cheese so if I donāt like, itās not good) and I suggested he exchange it for something else. We brought it to our serverās attention, (a good runner brought out that dish so this was the first time she was seeing it) and she immediately made a face saying that this was unacceptable and please allow her to bring out a replacement. You can check the pics included of the first attempt and the replacement which was MILES better. The pasta was cooled correctly and the cheese noodle ratio was adjusted. Unfortunately, the damage had already been done in that, you know how if you eat something with a certain flavor but the texture is wrong, but you go to eat something similar with the same flavor and it just reminds you of the old thing? Thatās what happened. He said he wouldāve thought it was good had he not tried the first dish, and he wasnāt able to finish it.
I will say that our server was probably the best server Iāve ever had at any restaurant ever (and you can see from my reviews that I go to a lot of restaurants). Thank you Martina! You were fabulous! She was super attentive, worked to fix any of our issues and offered various options for solutions. Very empowering to the customer.
The sunset was beautiful and so was the weather, so we were pleased to be seated outside, and I would highly recommend doing...

Review 3 years ago: Multiple times we have had orders over cooked, under cooked, and just didn't get the right order. Food is not very good, and not a very friendly place. We live here and looked at like we don't belong. Sad too, but we won't go back unless some major changes are made!
New review! Well, we finally went back after not going for over three years. My above review was on the spot accurate and after going tonight for the first time in over three years all I can say is wow!
The food was fantastic! Portions were huge, prices were very reasonable, the servers did a great job because it was busy and they could have used another pair of hands, and the new manager, he was hustling out there helping, talking with the customers, talking with his staff, doing what a good manager does! And whoever is the new chef in back keep up what you're doing, you are killing it and I can't wait to try many more things on the menu!
Only thing I would suggest that may have caused a little confusion, maybe a better table numbering system? A couple of your helpers bringing out food weren't sure where it was to go. A simple number marker on each table along with that number being on the food order could probably go a long way in the runners getting the orders to the right table as soon as they come out. But other than that well done! It is so great to see our beautiful little golf course restaurant finally coming into what it should have been a long time ago. Keep your staff happy and smiling and this place will thrive! I know we will be regular customers from now on!...

We waited patiently as the sign stated "Wait to be seated" for about 5 minutes with half a dozen employees walking by with no notice of us standing there. Finally, "Jocelyn" came up and said there would be a wait of about 30 minutes as the kitchen and staff were "backed up". We enquired as to whether or not we could sit at a vacant table on the patio and have a few beers as we would not be in a hurry for lunch service. We were denied by "Jocelyn". We asked why and she was dumbfounded by the logic in our question. We decided to leave as the logic was missing and evidenced by her explanation.
I called a few hours later and asked to speak to a manager. They asked me what it was regarding, and I told them that "I had a complaint". After a few minutes of hold time on the phone, I was greeted by a friendly "Luis" who was the kitchen manager cooking food and he said he really didn't "have the time to speak to me". When pressed, he agreed, and I declined as I knew he had a job to do. WHERE THE HELL IS YOUR MANAGEMENT OR CUSTOMER SERVICE?
