$20/peron to toss an axe for 1 hour ā¦. Ok, overpriced but I can live with it. What I struggled with was having to go to the other side of the bar ( to go section ) to order our meal . only wine and beer , no liquors, & $20/peron to toss an axe for 1 hour ā¦. Ok⦠I can live with that. However!! Very limited menu . 45 min later food is delivered, I request ketchup and extra napkins with burger and the young man who delivered the food told me I needed to go to the bar to get these items. A āsmash burgerāā basically a hamburger patty in potato chip form. Overcooked , overrated , nonexistent ā¦.just plain bad. Other guests in our party had the chicken Philly and couldnāt eat it . They said it was awful. Beer selection on tap was mediocre . Billiards were ok ( no actual table lights in place). Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe are new in town and were looking for something to do when we came across Trivia at Seminar. The space is nice and open with picnic tables and a pretty big bar with stools, lots of taps and a very extensive menu. We had a few appetizers to start (the battered cauliflower was especially good) and a few beers while we waited for trivia to begin. My hard cider was good, not too sweet but not very bubby though and therefore tasted flat. My friend had the vanilla porter which sounded good but had a not very pleasant metallic type aftertaste and was also quite flat. I was very excited to try the lemon ginger wheat but was saddened by the extreme bitterness of the lemon. Think chewing on lemon rinds. No bueno. We only tried 3 beers and for all we know the others were stellar. But due to the achingly slow progress of Wrong Travis and his trivia we left early without trying anything else. There was a break after each question that lasted 3-4 min and sometimes even 5 min before heād move on to the next one. Way too long of a pause dude. It looked as if he was searching for the next question during this break. Did he really not come prepared? Anyway, we will back for more beer and food at some point but not for Travisā...

It is roomy and airy inside with pool tables, a very nice bar and seating area. The bartenders were very well-mannered and informative. They made suggestions as we tried many of their styles. We ordered up our usual two flights to start things off. The brews were generally very good to excellent. It is difficult to pick a favorite, but I would recommend the Vectors Black Cascadian Dark Ale, which was simply amazing, and a collaboration effort with another SC brewery (Wild Heart). A trivia game got started during our visit that we could not stay long enough to join in, but we played along quietly for the first couple rounds and it was a lot of fun. We were on a roll and probably should have stayed. This was the kind of place that the next time we visit, we will safely assume going in that everything will taste good. We came in to try the beer and left very happy that we did stop...
