Bill Miller BBQ — Restaurant in Floresville

Normally the only reason I avoid Bill Millers in floresville is because I feel like they over charge for very little food....and the brisket is bland at best. The only reason I go to Bill Millers is to break up our burger options. I will never as long as I live return to this restaurant after today, I have never been spoken to so rudely. So 2 sides to every story heres mine. We always order a #1 but make it a plus and ask for extra meat. No one has ever asked how much extra we'd like, I would assume they would have an upcharge for extra meat....after all I don't work there I don't know the portion sizes. Well it was getting really complicated 😕 so I told the guy "this seems to be getting really complicated, let's just do 2 #1s"...."so you don't want them" he asked...."no just 2 #1s please".....then someone else gets on trys to fix the screen kept asking "is that all" very rudely instead of what else can we get you(we only ordered 3 meals) then cut me off with my total and pulled me forward. Someone else was at the window and just apologized for me being upset. I've worked in food service for many years, and if thats the job you have you should have better customer service skills. You will have "difficult customers" so to speak in every customer service job....you should know how to handle yourself in a tough situation, my order however was not a tough situation and I'm not a rude person. I only changed my order to make it easy on them and to ensure there wasn't any confusion....so that's what you get for being considerate, and not wanting to go back for a...

I’ve never had a bad experience at the Bill Miller’s of Floresville—until now. I’ve had an order be wrong plenty of times (I can get over that), I’ve received “nuggets” for tenders in my meal (they rectified this situation), but never have I seen something so nasty—a fly in my food. I get that these things can happen and it may be a very slim chance, but the fact that it did happen is so gross. I was about to eat my baked potato at home, and I was putting the toppings on, when all of a sudden I see this fly. STILL ALIVE, and stuck in the butter by his wings. It’s a good thing I don’t put butter in my baked potato and that he was juicy enough for me to see his large black body. I’m not saying you shouldn’t go to this particular location, I’m just saying you should examine what you are eating, and leave the lights on during consumption. After making management aware, she had the audacity to tell my husband, “flies are gonna be in here. It’s a restaurant.” Instead of trying to rectify the situation she wanted to make excuses. Not only that, but as my husband was there, he also observed people not wearing gloves that were handling food. I will be going higher up. I’m so disappointed in how the whole situation was handled. You can pride yourself on your barbecue, but you sure can’t pride yourself on your customer service. I wouldn’t have posted this had the manager handled everything more...

Usually they are pretty good but tonight they truly were not listening to me on the drive thru at all. First. I ordered 3 wrangler plate they gave me two, then I ordered a bucket of sweet tea, they gave me a lg sweet tea, then I ordered a whole pecan pie, they gave a slice. I guess they were just having an off day and I know they are always super busy but maybe have the order taker repeat your order would solve this dilemma. Oh and also only one plate came with the roll and the presentation of the plates were horrible! They looked liked the bag had been put upside down and when we opened the plates everything was on one side. Maybe that's the to go plates fault not sure but may want to address that situation with a better tactic on food presentation even if it's putting things individually in separate containers. One more grip if I order any kind of BBQ plate can it come standard with a small AMT of BBQ sauce on the side. Nothing more unsatisfying than getting home or to work and there's no BBQ sauce for your meats!! Sorry just venting at this point. Other than that you guys usually do great! Great young folks at the window with smiling...
