We didn't know this gem was here until I saw a sign off the highway saying Fresh Filipino Food so we busted a U turn. We grabbed a Garlic Chicken Bowl, an Adobo Pork platter, lump a, banana lumpia and banana Nutella lumpia too. Yeah I had to try them all.
The owners were so nice and kept us company chatting with the order was prepared. We talked about everything from Puerto Rico to Twilight (Team Edward đ).
We got everything to go as we were running errands. Everything was packed well and still crisp and yum when we got home.
The rice was fluffy and both the garlic chicken and pork adobo were melt in your mouth tender and so flavorful.
The lumpia was perfectly crisp and the sauce to dip it in was so good and had great spice too.
The dessert lumpias were sooooooooo yum and sweet. Great way to end the delicious meal. We ordered these 2 dishes and got 3 meals out of it plus lots of extra dessert still.
Good portion sizes, great friendly service and delicious good. You can't ask for more and we will be returning here OFTEN.
Also next time I need to try the jalapeno cheese lumpia. Can you tell I love lumpia? đ
Do yourself a favor and try this delicious restaurant for a wonderful home...
Read moreThis is my first experience for myself and my boyfriend having Filipino food. I moved into the area almost a year ago, and it is nice to help the community when we see food truck pop-ups! First, Iâd like to say that the portions are plentiful! One plate each and we couldnât finish it in one sitting, donât let the pictures fool you. I had the bbq pork platter, and my other half had the adobe pork. Neither of us could stop eating it. We also added an order of banana lumpia (May sound weird but are actually delicious too, not too sweet but subtle) and the owner had us try an off menu item (ham and cheese battered bread roll). All of it hands down tasty and delicious. The white rice is not too sticky, not to dry, just right. Definitely, will be going back and recommend to any one who loves to venture out trying new foods and/or love Filipino...
Read moreWe are on spring break from Michigan and wanted to try out a local restaurant. Weâre always cautious where we go because we have two kids with one that isnât very adventurous. If the youngest doesnât have a chicken nugget or Mac & cheese option we may or may not be dealing with a diva at dinner.
We tried a Big Red soda and some juices that were really. We started with lumpia sampler and it was SO GOOD. Even my 7 year old was eating them. She greedily finished the last cream cheese one! We got the bbq pork plate, bbq chicken bowl and glazed pork bowl. We tried eachothers food and it was SO GOOD. A âomg this is soooo goodâ with every bite kind of meal. Both kids ate and were happy. The owners are super friendly. Wish we were staying longer so we could try everything else on the menu. Definitely will be at the top of favorite things we did...
