AJ's Kitchen & Cocktails — Restaurant in Florida

We invited our daughter, her husband and two little girls (ages 2 & 4) to join us for dinner 1/11/2024. We were seated quickly and provided with fresh, warm bread and crackers and crayons for the children. The children’s menu offered a nice variety vs. just the usual hamburgers, french fries and chicken fingers. The fruit plates were very attractive and delicious. My fav item is the Worlf of Golf Village mixed green salad which has beets, strawberries, goat cheese, quinoa, sliced almonds and is dressed lightly with a citrusy balsamic dressing. I love to add grilled salmon to this salad and it is quite sufficient as a meal. One of the chef’s specials was Sirloin tips served in delightfully flavored mushroom risotto garnished with grilled cherry tomatoes. It was so good! One of our guests enjoyed a Smash burger and a flight of beers which were all good. Lastly, my husband enjoyed another chef special: Shrimp and fusilli in a delectable butter sauce. Our food was all served hot and we had a great time! Jordan took GREAT care of us. She was most attentive and patient. I highly recommend this restaurant that is open to the public - even though the community is gated. During the day it is a casual golf club with a beautiful view of the golf course where you can watch the sunset. At night the atmosphere is more sophistocated with candle light, a fireplace inside and fire pits outside where one can linger with a drink and enjoy...

This is.a beautiful venue. However, none of the owners are ever there. They bought this place and do not know how to run it. Drink prices are so expensive....especially when every place in the area offer a Happy Hour and reduced drink prices. Food prices are out of line too. Just because this is in a golf community, doesn't mean they can charge outlandish prices!! There wasn't anyone the place and it is like that most nights. You sure don't need a reservation. They need someone to manage the place that has restaurant experience and who realizes you need to offer incentives, (like reduced drink prices see nights) Can get a $3 beer at nearby restaurant on Mondays. $5 absolute martinis on Thursday, Places are packed. This place will close again and they are only open now,...

AJ's was AMAZING! My wife and I just had our reception here. The professionalism and service from all of the staffs was above and beyond. The day we put down a deposit for the venue, we had constant contact from the managers. During the reception, the food and service was remarkable from the buffet to the open bar. Having the ability to go inside and sit down and enjoy conversations with friends and family and then be able to turn around and go outside and enjoy the warm weather was something very few venues have. After the reception many of my family and friends complimented my choice for AJ's due to how friendly the staff and how delicious the food was. I would recommend this venue to ANYONE for any event...
