Haven’t been here since they quit opening on Sundays. We use to come here regularly after church. We heard it was open on Sundays again (7 days a week now) and thought we”d give it a go. Menu has totally changed, my favorite salad was not available, I kinda expected it since I think it’s under new management?? Sunday they only serve brunch and the menu is pretty limited but I have to say it was very good. I had a scrambler bowl, though the eggs were “poached,” I would have liked a soft yolk, my egg was cooked through so I wasn’t happy about that, but I didn’t say anything to them because it had taken a bit to get served I thought it would take too long to get my plate right so I ate it. Again it was very good. Another person had the French toast also very good, and the BLT was “delicious” according to that person in our party. All in all a good experience. We will definitely come back. The outside playground is a big plus too! Nice family atmosphere. Only fours stars because of my over cooked egg and also I asked for a side of sausage included in my bowl (which had bacon) and the waitress said she could bring me a side of sausage but couldn’t include it in my bowl... kinda silly in my opinion. What’s the difference, cut it up throw it in. She could have sold me a side of sausage but instead said she couldn’t. I miss the personalized service that use to be part of this Apollo Bistro. Prices are reasonable and food was good so we will come back. We are curious about the other food, I’ll update when we go back. We came back for lunch, the service is still slow but the food was good. I also met a friend for a glass of wine in the evening recently, Very nuce. It is a quiet place to have something to drink and chat with a...
Read moreOMG went with friends and the pork chop marsala was out of this world..we shared the pork chop marsala plate. I don't know how much it cost because of course as usual my second mother Karen paid the bill. We were there to try to work our business of selling some Park Lane Jewelry, however Jackie also hung out for a little bit.We met some of the most marvelous people in AP Beach! They're doing some renovations interior of the restaurant but don't let that effect you! If I mispelled our servers name "Najuminy and foget the hospitality of the other staff, I apologize. Loved her tats tho... Britney and her Beau regular patrons were there as well.I'm sure they enjoyed their meal great folks great people great service and you know what I'm going to miss you guys but I'll be back with my husband sometime in the future. You know our hearts are always going to be in this area. Hasta luego. Ciao baby people don't pass up this gem definitely choose that over say like a place like that you're sitting on 41 looking at traffic go by and having to wait for service they might not have any music that's what you should do you should go to dinner at Ricky's Apollo Bistro and then head up and see some good live music over at Ricky's in the Publix Plaza right there on 41. Me personally, I feel safe at these two places💞💝 while my Man is away...Not like other places that look at you for what you have or how much you will spend. Never judge a book by it's cover. And never shoo folks like they are a cockroach.. use by permission only TY pray for our service men and women!!!!! And eat at Apollo Beach Racquet Club. Richie's Way...
Read moreI would firstly like to state that our waiter Christian was great. He was attentive and checked up on us regularly.
Secondly, in order to get to the restaurant you first have to walk through a day care and park. I personally found no issue with it as the day care at the time was closed. But its worth a mention
The food was HORRIBLE. My party started off with the lobster bisque soup. A bisque is a cream based soup. No cream, no density, the flavor was nice but thin and almost entirely water. I had the crab cakes and my mother had the chicken piccata. My crab cakes came out dark and in some parts black, very over cooked. The two cakes were layed on a few limp strands of lettuce with two dashes of remoudlade sauce. The chicken piccata had no flavor. No seasoning on or around the chicken at all. The dinner was terrible. I just recently moved into the area and am still looking for a nice local place to eat. I will not be...
