Brock's Surfside Grill & Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

This was the worst service I'd EVER received from Brocks surfside. I live next door to the place and WAS a all year long customer. Every LOCAL go! to Brock’s for one reason which is that the food is decent and you don't want to leave island. Brock’s is a convenience is all....AND it’s an OVERPRICED Convince. I paid 32.00 for a medium pep/onion pizza and a gorgonzola salad on my last order that I WAITED FOR AN HOUR!!!!! FOR! The girl at counter let THREE OTHER ORDERS GO! AHEAD OF ME! I know this because I was talking to the ladies that were waiting for their food all irate as well.....The counter lady was RUDE ! and was like “oh! Orders taking long cause of HUGE ORDER from Nettles Isand” BLAH BLAH! Poor customer service you should never make excuses. Why? Not tell me when I called I’d wait! Close to an Hour , I would of gone somewhere else for dinner and tried Brook’s on another night. But! The best was when I asked to speak to manager SWEET WILL he said his name was and yes! At first he heard me out and SAID He’d FULLY COMP my next check! I ‘m a local no problem he seemed true to his word. I went home to my bf and explained what had happened with food cause this has NEVER! Happened before and I said “No! worries the manager will take care of next check” and my bf was like “ You better call tomorrow and we’ll order same order” , so we will see if “Manager Sweet WILL” will stay true to his word ? Unfortunately, to my surprise my BF was rite...... SWEET WILL! Has no integrity! I called to place a order and he said “NO! I will give you a discount!” I was in SHOCK! Really? I spoke to you less than 24 hours ago and I took your word.....I’m a local, I’m your local librarian and I served this country as a 9/11/01 US ARMY VETERAN!!!! This place has no INTEGRITY and I will NEVER GO! Here again. Do not waste your money on their NOT so Convenient OVERPRICED and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! In Jensen Beach on the island by the CVS is ALBERTO’s PIZZA who’s good and Rite over bride is Big Apple Pizza who’s service, pizza, and Prices are FAR better...

We come here yearly abs have for a very long time. We know mondays are pizza night so we expect a wait. No big deal.

Ordered quickly after being sat at a table. Waited over an hour for our pizza.

When it was brought out, it was a plain cheese when we ordered pepperoni and ham so it was sent back. Another 20 min goes by and it comes back out with toppings just thrown on top. Not even re warmed or anything. The ham chunks were still cold like out of a refrigerator. When we spoke to the waitress, she looked at us like we were crazy but took it back to be remade.

Another 25-30 min goes by and it comes back out. This time with maybe 10 pieces of pepperoni on it and less than a handful of ham chunks.

Whatever. We gave up and just ate it then left. The pizza is not the quality it used to be either even though the prices have went up.

We also were kind of turned off by the rude waitress coming over to us saying “if you’re done eating you have to leave. I have other tables that need to be sat”. We had only been there maybe 15 min and just ordered. We hadn’t even gotten our food. When we told her we hadn’t eaten yet and we were waiting for our food, her response was “well ok, but hurry once you get it”.

Hopefully this was just an off night but I don’t think we will be back for this trip. The whole atmosphere...

We have been here on Hutchinson Island for 35 years!!! Dabbled with the Surfside but have not been there since Covid. We went to dinner last week and were blown away by the quality of the food, the service and the atmosphere!!!! The wings were so good, we will never get them locally anywhere else. The were cooked to perfection and the hot sauce stupendous. My husband had the cheeseburger and could not say more about the quality and the tastiness of the cheeseburger. My neighbors at Sand Dollar recommended this at the best burger they have ever had and my husband agrees. Ordered the Margarita Pizza tonight for Good Friday. We are from the Pizza Capitol in New Haven and boy, this pizza was as good as we get in New Haven. The pizza crust was tasty and the toppings of fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, and fresh basil knocked our socks off!!! If you have room, order the peanut butter pie or any of the desserts. We walked out with three of them: peanut butter pie, the key lime and the apple caramel. All were equally awesome!!!!! Can not rave about this place enough and believe me we have been around to loads of other spots over the 35 years we have been...
