Update: They use Uber Eats now! You can customize the orders, and the food is still outstanding! Time will tell if the accuracy issue has been resolved but I have increased star rating to 4 since they fixed the delivery service issue.
Update on this review: (Revision 2) Due to misunderstanding by the restaurant let me reiterate if you are using a delivery service like GrubHub ( only service that will pick up from this restaurant) be aware that when placing orders online you cannot edit variety of bagels, cream cheese flavors etc. The restaurant still has an accuracy issue and it's not all the delivery services fault. A great example is the last order our driver called from the restaurant about items we wanted. Restaurants response "We already picked the order. We are out of bagels now. We don't have any other cream cheese flavors right now." The food is still good but seriously consider if it's worth the headache from the service end.
Please be aware that the service suffers horribly if using a delivery service. The restaurant will not allow specifications on the type of bagels you select in the baker's dozen, sandwiches or flavored cream cheese. You get what you get and the restaurant will not change it. Order accuracy is also an issue with delivery service. I am deducting 2 stars from the rating for this reason until the issue is addressed.
This is a gem of a place that I stumbled upon one early Sunday morning en route to the beach. I made a note to pay it a visit the next time I wanted a bagel. Please be aware they have very limited hours and are only open until noon on days they are open.
On the order :
Bacon, egg, cheese on plain bagel - perfect texture in the bagel.slight crisp outside, good chew, and soft inside. A fresh scrambled egg, cheese and well cooked bacon made this a delightful sandwich
Taylor ham, egg, cheese on plain bagel - My comments on the bagel from the previous sandwich still apply. Perfect! I don't know if it was the pure joy of finally finding a legit Taylor ham sandwich in Florida, or the fact it was spot on perfect in taste, but I had that kid at a Chuck E. Cheese for the first time grin on my face the whole time we were eating it.
Bakers Dozen Bagels - Assorted flavors such as everything, toasted garlic, onion, pumpernickel, salt, asiago, poppyseed ,and plain. First YES. There were 13 in my bag. That being said I have not tasted all these wonderful smelling and generously topped bagels yet. If you need to know why check the previous two items above. (Side note....pumpernickel bagels seemed a bit flatter than the rest).
Plain Cream Cheese - Smooth, creamy, slight tang, compliments the bagels nicely and is high quality. Will absolutely try the flavored ones next time.
Summary: I can easily say this is the best little bagel shop in the area. This place seems to genuinely care about the quality of...
Read moreI used to frequent this shop when the previous owners still owned it. The food was really incredible. And you got what you paid for. I don't come this way as often. I decided to order to go since I was passing by and had a serious craving for an everything bagel with lox and cream cheese. This was severely disappointing. The bagel size shrunk to a thin doughy, unrecognizable to the original product. The lox..I don't even know what was wrong with it. It was discolored, warm and smelled bad. I've never seen lox with yellow edges and so discolored. The cream cheese barely covered one side of the bagel. It was very unappealing to open when I was expecting a delicious sandwich that i just spent $12.00 on. On a positive note, the greeting was friendly when I went to pick up my to go order. However, I chose to only eat the bagel with the cream cheese on it. I can't afford to get food poisoning from bad fish. I could have spent less and had a more enjoyable breakfast from the publix deli..I won't be returning to this...
Read moreI'd give it 5 stars but they took away a lot of great sandwiches that they used to have, I still crave their chicken salad. I worked here, so I can promise you it is a super clean and professionally run establishment. Moreover, having had an uncle with several award winning bagel and sandwich shops in Boston - these bagels are the best in town. The bagel cook, Steve, works tirelessly and takes so much pride in making these crispy, perfect chew and soft centered bagels as perfect as he can; it's a hard job that he makes into an art. They are generally flawless, and always great. They offer the best quality Boars Head meats, generously piled on sandwiches. The owners make almost everything from scratch - even drying out freshly chopped veggies and strawberries to create their specialty cream cheese flavors; and their remarkably fresh flavors are unparalleled. They are the only choice in Pasco for the freshest and fast breakfast, sandwiches and especially; those...
