Cabana Boy Ice Cream — Restaurant in Florida

I had the pineapple dole whip float with the vanilla-pineapple swirl and wow! That was amazing! The pineapple in the swirl tasted so fresh and genuine. The swirl went up so high I felt like I was given a good amount. The pineapple juice in the float tasted fresh as well. I loved that pineapple float.

My boyfriend got the pistachio milkshake and that was really delicious too. The man that made his milkshake did a great job. It was creamy and flavorful. It had real pistachio flavor and even had a whole pistachio nut in it. I bought a puppy cup of vanilla soft serve for my dog and she loved it! She kept licking it excitedly and when she finished she kept begging for more. I eventually gave in and gave her some of my pineapple float.

The lady working at the front was so kind and helpful. You can tell she really cares about her business.

I also want to say that the ambiance was so relaxing. I regret not taking pictures because there were hibiscus flowers, bamboo trees, and tropical plants. Whoever did the landscaping design did a great job. I also enjoyed the ukulele music playing in the background.

Overall, I had an excellent experience and I would highly recommend a stop at Cabana...

Stopped by today to try the Pineapple Dole Whip with Tajin and Chamoy and it was fantastic. My wife got the cookies and cream and it was delicious as well.

What makes this place truly great is the service that you get along with amazing ice cream. The owners are awesome people who really love what they do. I talked to one of the owners for about an hour after we got our ice cream. He is a great guy, super friendly, and willing to take the time to get to know his customers. As we were talking a car drove by and honked with a family waving at him. He knew who they were along with a lot of other people who came up to his shop.

If anyone is looking for ice cream in Winter Haven (or really anywhere in Polk County) I highly recommend Cabana Boy. It’s worth the drive...

we wanted ice cream after lunch today and found this hidden gem!! i loooved this place! the tiki statues and decorations were so nice, they had shaded places to sit under cabanas, tall bamboo and other live plants around. so many hand-scooped flavors to choose from (around 20 flavors), soft serve, milkshakes, toppings, and DOLE PINEAPPLE SOFT SERVE 🍍🍦😍 it seemed like they do an exclusive flavor of the week too. not too pricey either ! most expensive thing on the menu was 6 bucks.. a guy working there gave our son a nice Cabana Boy Ice Cream hat souvenir too, my son was so happy 🧢🍦🍨 I'm just sad we found this place on our last day of vacation!! definitely would have made this a daily stop 🙌🏼 until next year,...
