Charleys Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Florida

Hi I would like a number two cheesesteak combo but I don't want any cheese or toppings I only want meat onions and peppers. After waiting a very long time because several of her orders were having issues ahead of me. I'm watching the fiasco. My turn comes. The cook looks nervous. I don't know maybe he's having a bad day? He hands me two containers. I open the top one and there is cheese on my sandwich. I knew they were having some issues today. So I gathered myself together and said hey guys this one was supposed to have no cheese. So the guy points at the screen and he says it doesn't say no cheese. I said OK well then that's a problem with your order taker. He told me to take the sandwich. I said excuse me? He yelled at me why don't you like cheese? I'm serious! Other people in line told me that was ridiculous what they did to you here. Yelling at you. I have my receipt it says no toppings... onions and peppers only. Granted it does not say no cheese but that's not my fault. The gentleman standing next to me said do you notice they do not go over to the lady at the register and tell her she made a mistake? They said that girl must be the owners daughter or something. I'm never going back there. What a fiasco that place is. Even before I got my sandwich they were having problems. I stood there while day made my sandwich again, while being berated by the manager for telling his employee to stop yelling at me. I put my finger over my mouth like you went to a child and I said shush! Stop yelling at me I can't believe you're yelling at me. I'm the customer! I gave you money! You are mad at me? I got my sandwich went to the table and decided it would be better to take this home for the dog.

Additionally....the guy doing the cooking is the guy who got mad at me. Who is that guy? You would let one of your employees yell across the glass at a customer "why don't you like cheese take the sandwich"....and he waved me on. Do you think I would've just said OK I'll take the sandwich with the cheese because this guy is yelling at me and waving me on?

I love Charley's, but this particular Charley's is extremely unclean. The staff aren't very bright either. I asked for no lettuce, tomato or mayo and apparently the girl at the register just went through the motions, pretending to enter my requests into their system. However when I got the sandwich it had mayo, tomato and lettuce, and I can't stomach mayo in the least. I took the sandwich back and the guy that originally fixed it started to just pick off the lettuce and tomato and transfer the mayoed meat to a new bread. Luckily he thought twice when he saw me standing there watching him with an unimpressed look on my face and he fixed me an entirely new sandwich. He pulled up the order and made a scene about it being ordered with everything. I told him I did not order it with everything, instead apparently the girl didn't bother to put my order in correctly. The restaurant itself is not clean. There were little piles of bread piled here and there. The staff were setting bread on top of boxes of supplies and just where ever a spot could be found. The third guy came out of the back carrying raw chicken wings, just wiped his hands on a dirty looking towel, and then put gloves on, but certainly he contaminated both the gloves and the towel in the process. The grill was disgusting. The grill scrape tool was dipped in the garbage each time they scraped the grill to tap the scrapings off. The whole kitchen was dirty and unkempt. I should have avoided this Charley's in the first place, and I certainly should have just gotten a refund after the incorrect order, but, sadly, I did eat here. No illness yet, thankfully, but I won't be...

Literally stole our money. Three of us chose Philly cheese steak combo with fries and a drink. After selecting all the options we click the plus to make it 3 combo orders. He gave us 3 sandwiches, 1 drink and 1 fry. We asked where the other items are and he refused to give them. Said the screen showed 3 next to the sandwich only. I pointed out everything indented under the sandwich is part of the combo with the same amount, he said we were wrong. Stiffed us 2 drinks and 2 fries that we paid for and he will argue. Refused to print out our receipt. Also, the fries were clearly put in the microwave, had that next day rewarmed fries texture....
