Today, I stopped at Charlie's on Patrick Space Force Base at 3:26pm. When I approached the counter, a female came out of the back and with a disgusted face and snotty voice said "we're closed" before turning back around with a "hmph". I looked at the store hours and it closes at 3:30pm. To many this may seem petty, but if your hours are 3:30, you should be open until 3:30, even if you are not busy. Time matters. Everyone wants to go home early, but we have jobs to do. So, I did not get the name of the female because she was not wearing a nametag, so when a male came out, I asked him who the female was. He replied, "my employee, Jada." So I told him that "she doesn't have very good customer service skills." To which, this guy looks at me like I am from another planet, then starts playing in the register acting like I was not there. I have been to dozens of Charlie's restaurants around the world (since they are on almost every Air Force and Army base (including Germany and Korea) and this store at Patrick SFB is the absolute worst! Customer service was not their forte before, but this was a whole new level of terrible! I have eaten there before and had to deal with a short order cook who can only do one sandwich at a time during a rush and tolerated their poor attitudes. In reading the reviews on Google, I am inclined to agree that this is the worst Charlie's in the world. Sad thing is that they claim to be "serving the best customers in the world". Sure. I also agree with the review on Google that the Charlie's at Walmart on Sarno is much better, probably one of the best. At a Walmart! Seriously? A Walmart store treats customers better and with more respect than one on a military base?!?!? Shut down the one on Patrick for a week so they can see what good customer service is! They don't want to be open during their scheduled hours anyway. ...
Read moreMy wife and I went to the front counter and saw the female staff member cleaning up. We were the only customers there. As we waited patiently for 10 minutes to be acknowledged, the staff member didn’t say anything. I asked, “Are you guys open?” She continued to ignore me as she started walking towards the register. I stared at her and asked again, “Excuse me. Are you open?” She finally said, “Yes.” I ordered our food and said, “Thank you” and she just ignored me. After we picked up our food to eat there my wife asked me for a fork. I went to the counter and asked the male staff member if I can have a fork. He was just standing there and he looked very irritated that I asked then gave me the fork. I said, “Thank you” and he didn’t say anything. From their behavior, they both acted as if they were disgruntled. That will be the last time...
Read moreBad experience with this location. Starting off with very unpleasant cashier. Zero personality, no greeting, very monotone in voice, just a total lack of interest in her job. That was so obvious! The steak was so over cooked, blackened and dry, and half of the “everything on sandwich please” was missing. The grill was much, much to hot for the meat, but hey, when you don’t like your job, everything about it reflects in what you are presented as a sandwich. Last time we drive here. Best Charley’s ever? Walmart store in Viera, Fl. THEY care about...
