Cinnamon Beach Grill — Restaurant in Florida

This is in a private gated community, but it's the only restaurant there. The place is open typically from 11 - 6, just for the pool crowd. The food is actually really good. I quite enjoyed the red fish sandwich. The cocktails are mostly from mixes (although I really like Tabasco Bloody Mary Mix), but they make the margaritas from scratch and it shows.

This place can get absolutely swamped during lunch but the workers do a great job of it, and still managed to chat with me a bit. They charge an extra 18% for a tip on Credit Card transactions (international travelers don't realize they have to tip) so prepare for that, but you can leave more, and I did, because the service was great. Great food. Get the house chips. So good! The burger is hand made with multiple types of beef including short rib meat. I could immediately tell it was not the standard frozen patty you find at some restaurants. I loved it!

The cocktails are excellent - they are a perfect mix of alcohol and mixers. Not too strong, not too weak.

The staff is eager to serve and very friendly.

Everything is a bit pricey but that’s standard for a resort-type place. I would not call the prices exorbitant, just normal for what it is. But the food is really good so it doesn’t feel like you’re being overcharged much.

We are here for another week so we’ll hit them up at least once...

Good food, reasonable prices. The loaded bloody Mary with shrimp and bacon was awesome. The bartenders were nice, they made some really good drinks. Would definitely recommend to someone vacationing at one of the condos. I stayed at 500 Cinnamon Beach and it took 4-5 minutes to walk. Pool area is big, could use a couple more umbrellas but it wasn't overly crowded and we always snagged one. BTW this review is strictly for the kids pool area, we didn't go to the adults one bc we had...
