This was mine & my husband's first time here. I've lived here since 2003 & always wondered about this place & how the food tasted. Then heard it was really good from friends & family so my hubby decided to take me for an early Valentine's Day dinner. I'm so glad he suggested this place. They opened up at 4:30pm on Saturday. There was a long line at the door waiting for the restaurant to open. It didn't take long at all to get in & seated. They seated every party one by one. We were basically at the end of the line but we got in quickly. They're was enough seating for everyone. The hostess was real nice & friendly. She sat us at a quant & cozy booth. We could see the amazing fire in the fireplace & Western decor. I should've took pictures. Next time I definitely will. Our waitress Kelly was just as sweet as she could be!! Very personable, attentive, kind, & just on top of things even though the restaurant was really busy. She was fast to take our drink order first & then brought us yummy soft rolls plus, extra later. Then brought us the salad's we ordered with our meal as one of our side's so we were able to finish our salad's š„ & a roll or 2 before our main course came out. Everything came out fast. We really didn't have to wait long at all. I had the sweet red wine š· which was really delicious. My husband had a bottled beer šŗ They're bar is really cool too when u first walk in it's on your left. Our waitress Kelly said they had a special with the Porterhouse but I decided to go with the smaller steak 6oz š„© fillet mignon cooked medium. OMG best steak I've ever had!! It literally melted in my mouth like the menu say's. They do have different sizes/ounces. You get 2 sides. My one side was the dinner salad then I got garlic mashed potatoes loaded. Which was $1.00 extra for bacon bits, cheese, scallions. It was really yummy 𤤠I forgot to add they give you a tiny scoop of lime sorbet to eat right before you eat the steak. They say it brings out the flavor's in the steak. They weren't lying cuz it really does. I usually use A-1 sauce or hienz 57 but this steak had such Awesome flavor I didn't need sauce. I enjoyed it without it!! My husband had the 12oz Ribeye š„© cooked medium. I tried his & he tried mine. We both liked each other's steak's. He had a dinner salad š„ as well & fried okra. I rarely finish my plate & always usually get a doggie bag but the food was that deliciously 𤤠amazing š I ate everything!! They have like 4 different desserts on they're menu that sounded amazing but I was too full to even think about it!! š All the staff & customers were friendly!! I give this place 5 star's š¤©š¤©š¤©š¤©š¤© It's a little pricy but worth every penny!! It's a good place to go if u want a really thick beefy steak š„© bursting with flavor!! You really have to try it!! They also have seafood, chicken, appetizers, 9 sides to choose from, sauteed onions & mushrooms, blue cheese crumbles, & a full bar. Well I hope you try it. Sry for the really long review!! We really enjoyed this place, food, & service. We will definitely be back more often!! Thank You š„°...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI feel weird leaving a review when I didn't even eat anything, but it needs to be said. We arrived at 915 on a Saturday, so not too close to 10pm closing time. The wait staff all seemed very busy and apologized for not seating us immediately. No problem there, we're generally very patient and understanding. We were seated and the server took our drink order promptly. Unfortunately, this is where things started to go downhill. Upon trying to order the gumbo, she told us that it's terrible and most people do not like it and end up sending it back. We thought that was odd, but appreciated a fair warning to not spend money on a bad choice. My buddy tried to order a particular cut of steak and was told they were out of the two smaller sizes and only had the huge portion available. He agreed to get the biggest cut and placed the remainder of his order. Our server explained that they were also out of chicken before I placed my order. I got a new York strip and ordered my sides. Then we wait..... And wait. Our server finally comes back to explain that the cut my buddy chose was now completely sold out and that he would need to choose something else. No bread, no salad no silverware. Finally, at 950 my order shows up, again without accompanying silverware or the promised bread service and the server has a look of confusion about my buddies order. She's asks what did he order and runs off. 10 minutes later, a different server showed up with the wrong order for my friend and still no silverware for me. At this point, we told the servers we were leaving and did not want them to try to correct anything. They said, "oh no problem, we understand and we'll comp your tab.". What was there to comp, the tea and soda we had? Come on! This place was a hot mess tonight. Add the fact that what did show up looked overcooked and average at best and there would be no reason to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI personally know Bill ( a server at Coach-n-Four Steakhouse ) who suggested I check this place out. The atmosphere is somewhat unique for this area and certainly a very calm chill kind of place. My Queen is currently on a Lioness Diet ( Meat and Eggs only under Doctors supervision ) so she ordered a burger without the bun and I ate the steak fries hers came with. Bill had left earlier so we missed him but the Server Denee was so nice. My Queen has very particular desires when it comes to Bacon ( she is left handed and originally from Indiana ) so she did not exactly enjoy the extra crispy deep fried bacon but any true southerner likely would. Bill informed me that the burger and hamburger steaks are generally speaking a combination of various steak pieces ground up in the kitchen. My Queen and I were pleasantly surprised with the seasoning of the meat and their 1/2 pound burgers were way larger than any half pounder we have seen anywhere else. They ate like a typical backyard barbecue burger. We are excited to now go back and try the Steaks, which we hope to do soon. This place is kinda of what one would have hoped Cracker Barrel should have been. My Queen and I commented about imagining old Southern Debutants enjoying a place like this and imagining Seniors out on the porch sipping lemonade. Denee offered me some rolls and sherbet while we waited on the burgers, which did take a few moments longer than expected but certainly well worth the wait in our opinion. The lime sherbet was very nice with a smooth subtle lime flavor with little hints of lime zest mixed in. Burger wise we rated this place on par with Five Guys ( which we enjoy from time to time ) but with, hands down, a way better atmosphere. Yāall stop by, ask for Bill and tell him Scott...
